The service was excellent very friendly staff had great laugh with them not long to wait for the food which when came was well presented and very tasty in fact the portions were almost too big but just managed them with the help of a cold glass of wine and a cold beer!!! My partner and I are returning with friends and family after our next night out gigging with "Firekind "....yAHOO...recommended

Amazing food and service. The food is prepared using fresh ingredients and is beautifully served. A variety of flavours and spices with your choices. My only regret is I didn't take photos to post. The restaurant decor is pleasant and stands for what it is Nepalese. Very comfortable, relaxing environment. Very attentive waiters. First time for me having Nepalese food and I loved it. My husband is very much into his curries and this restaurant is now one of our favorites. Daal and lamb dishes were delicious. One of our favorite restaurants and places to eat in. Adding this at the bottom of my review and a photo.the

This place offers some of the best indo-Nepalese foods that I’ve tried. The quantity was amazing, staff were nice and the food was fresh and excellent. We tried a variety of dishes here including mojos, achari fish, keema rice, lamb curry, chicken and lamb biryani. Each of them had good quantity and excellent flavour. I’m always going back to Exmouth just to try the food. It’s my favourite restaurant now.

Came as the reviews were very good and I love north India curry. I wasn’t disappointed - on a Tuesday night in October when everywhere else was empty, the ground floor was full and I had to go upstairs to get a table! The service was excellent with the waiter being highly efficient, knowledgeable as well as very interested. I ordered papadums, a cobra beer and asked for his suggestion for a typical Himalayan main course - he suggested the chicken, and I added a Sag bhaji and some chapatis; part way through I added a Nepalese beer he suggested. The meal was absolutely wonderful in every respect - the quality, quantity and taste was lovely. The total cost came to around £37, which was very good value indeed for the quality of the experience. Fully recommend.

Just had the most fabulous meal at Namaste. They were so busy but found us a table. The staff were amazing, nothing too much trouble. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Will definitely return.

For anyone who likes food from the Indian sub-continent, the Namaste Himalayan would be a must. As well as having all the dishes you'd expect in a traditional Indian restaurant, they also have some excellent Nepali specials. The owner and staff are from Nepal and are keen on promoting their specials, which were delicious, but are equally good at cooking the other dishes. Evidence of a full restaurant and a very busy take away business indicates that it already has a good reputation in the town, but we came upon it one evening and were really impressed by the experience. For starters, my husband opted for Mughlai, Seekh Kebab, cooked in the Tandoor on metal skewers making the meat cook all the way through. I opted for another Nepalese special the Himali Chicken Choila. The Choila was spicy, but flavoursome. The spices were well mixed so you could pick out the cumin, fenugreek seeds, mustard seeds and little hot chilles, while they combined to make a tasty and inviting whole. For mains we had two similar dishes as each other, one with lamb the other with chicken. These are called Khasi Ko Masu and Kukura Ko Masu. I could pick out flavours of bay, cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, coriander, cumin, turmeric, ginger, garlic and tomatoes, but I think there were other flavours there too – whatever they were they were zingy and delicious. We eat the Ko Masu with plain and pilau rice, Keema Naan and Cheese Naan, both Naans were soft and fluffy, with no hint of fattiness. I have had Naan bread where I've need cuffs to stop the oil dribbling down my arms as I eat it, these were the opposite of that and delicious.

Online said it was full but I phoned and got a table. We sat downstairs. Friendly staff, food was really fresh tasting and large portions. For a couple- drinks, poppadom and dip starter and two curries came to just over £50 which felt really reasonable. Nice little spot.

We found this place while on a business trip and looking for somewhere to eat. Staff were incredibly welcoming, the atmosphere was lovely, and the food was absolutely delicious! I fully recommend if you're in the area. A bonus is that the prices were very reasonable for such amazing food. I really hope I have to visit this way again as I would love to go back. Really worth a visit! (Have the MOMOs!).

Beautiful place with beautiful food. I had the khasi ko masu. Lamb was tender, spicing was lovely. Hot enough but not blowing your head off. I'm still thinking about it now. Prices are fair for the quality you get. And the staff was friendly. Would go again and recommend to anyone

Authentic Nepalese & Indian cuisine, full of flavour, friendly & attentive staff, great value. The chef tailored our meals to our personal spice preferences. First time we've ever had a bottle of Indian red wine too which was smooth & balanced. We left feeling full & very happy thank you Namaste :)

Such a great place. Brilliant food and happy staff. We had a taster plate to share which was more than enough with a few bowls on the side.

Fantastic restaurant with the most amazing service. Friendly welcome and advice when making order about how spicy different meals were. Food was incredible. I ordered the himilayan vegetable curry for my main and it was best meal I have had in a long time. Naan bread was also lovely! Completely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.

The food was exceptional. The best Nepalese/indian food ive ever had. The experience was lovely too. The main restaurant proprietor served us and he not only was attentive and funny but effecient and had extensive knowledge on his business. We had lovely waitress as well that was quick and friendly. Every detail from chocolate with our bill, and hot towels to assorted dips and poppadoms whilst we looked at the menu was taken care of. Im so excited to say this will become a new regular haunt for me and my partner for date nights! Brilliant all round.

Visited this restaurant on the chance that we would be able to get a table for six people. No problem at all. Restaurant was busy which is always a good sign but that didn't affect waiting times for our food choices being served up to us. Our party enjoyed the food and would definitely come back if we are holidaying in Exmouth. Would recommend this Restaurant for delicious food, excellent and friendly service.
