Visited at lunch time, great atmosphere and incredible food. Lovely, friendly bar staff. Don't normally take to Facebook for the sake of it, this place is well worth the 5* and the recommendation.
Visited here whilst on holiday at Devon cliffs, ( 3 adults and 2 children)... The staff were so lovely and friendly and the food was perfection, we all felt so relaxed here we couldv stayed all day�.... My eldest daughter wanted a children's cocktail which wasn't on the menu but the lovely man there mixed one up for her which was beautiful. Would most definitely recommend Spoken to anyone visiting Exmouth.
Love the twosome (swapped my burger for the baa baa burger) :) came in with a large group of family for a birthday meal there was a slight hiccup with a couple of orders but staff were great and sorted it all out and couldn’t have been more apologetic!
Brilliant service at my birthday lunch yesterday. We were so well looked after by the excellent staff and the food was spot on. Particularly impressed by the way the team were caring and concerned for my friend with a serious allergy. Just a perfect birthday party lunch. Well done George and the team xxx
The place is great, but it's greatest asset are the staff who are genuinely keen to talk to you, really friendly place, well priced and good food and drink, been three nights in the trot, to be fair, will most likely be back for the meatballs tomorrow! :-)

Great little place with every conceivable drink available if you lime you shots, gin, whisky or cocktails :) lots of choice on the draught too. My daughters both live in exmouth so i visit a lot and thos was my second visit, deffo wont be my last. Food is great too i had the local cod and between us we tried the Spanish fries, BBQ chicken wings, Mac n Cheese and The Piggy Burger all amazing. Not too expensive either.

Celebrated my daughters birthday lunch with group of her friends. Start to finish excellent service, great atmosphere and quality food. Couldn’t fault it. Definitely recommended!
Really enjoyed the food, loved the presentation and the quality was excellent, very reasonably priced and a great feel to the place with excellent, friendly service.
The food is great, quite delicious. We loved the roast lamb, the portion was great for 2. The place has a excellent vibe and the staff is kind and very efficient. We had a lovely meal.
The drink selection was amazing and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome, talk to us and advise. Highly recommend this place, we only had a few drinks but would love to eat here next time we visit!

Lovely food and very friendly staff. Pricey but very worth the money in my opinion. We had 6 dishes between 2, cocktails and desert. Left the restaurant very full and happy.

Edit: just been back after a year. Still fantastic. Had the open sandwiches (meat and vegan) which were sensational. The quality of ingredients, the variety of salads, the crispness of the sweet potato fries.
Went here for something to eat on my birthday. The weather was nice, so we sat outside we got flatbreads, which were amazing, so simple but tasty highly recommend .
The truffle parmesan chips are the best !
We had cocktails which were lovley too ! Overall really happy with our meal and drinks , service was good too staff really freindly!

Exmouth......have been coming here for years!! Can't believe we have not spotted Spoken until today. It's cool, has a fantastic decor, a selection of drinks all presented behind the long bar in psychedelic fashion and a food menu to drive you crazy. Unfortunately we are booked for Pho later but the tapas coming out look absolutely divine and the cocktails look second to none. It has a chilled out atmosphere and the staff are very attentive ....we will be back for the mezzo and caesar chips!!
