Well we have been going to Exmouth for years and always eaten at. The Bath House. Could not get in there so walked along and found Aby's. What a place. Fantastic food (roast was enormous) very friendly, helpful, efficient staff. Service excellent , could not recommend them highly enough. Very nice indeed. Will definitely be going back again.

Wife and I stayed overnight after seeing joey and the lips at the pavilion, (few beers involved there),, Premier inn website said breakfast until 11.30 though when we walked in at 10.26 they were just wrapping up.. (sort it out premier inn please).. however just a few yards along we came across “abys”,,, well I must say what a find.!! Staff were cracking and the all you can eat buffet breakfast was just as good. Ample food well cooked with the most important item on any breakfast plate (soft yolked fried eggs) being plentiful and perfectly cooked..!👍. Unlike the Toby where food sits on the warmers until the yolks are hard, bacon dried up and sausages dried and wrinkled until they looked like an old mans pe,,,, Well, you know what I mean. Would I recommend abys and would I go back?? Damned right I would. I’m a Scotsman who knows his fry ups ,, trust me. Well done guys, after the disappointment of very poor food at the local Mexican restaurant the night before (ironically called Mexicano) (and I will likely be letting them know) it was really nice to have a perfect breakfast. Thanks again abys.

My partner and I had lunch at Aby`s, Very friendly and attentive staff, I had the mussels which were so tender and plenty of them would recommend to any seafood lovers, my partner had the cheeseburger which was also very good and high quality cut of meat too, very efficient bistro style restaurant with many choices on the menu, highly recommended, we definitely will be back

Left Exmouth today after having a lovely breakfast in Aby's. Also took with us a slice of the ham & mushroom pizza slice they have started doing. Well, after over 3 hours on the road we had them for lunch and they were lush. Loads of topping and still moist so can recommend them. They do veggie ones too. Can also recommend the cheese salad, prawn & smoked salmon salad but forgot to have the tapas dish but there's always next time.....

I love this place! Not only is the coffee great and the pastries irresistible, but the staff are lovely and kind. My favourite place to do a spot of studying over a latte and a jewel bar!

In the last week I've been to a well known American bar & restaurant in Exeter and to Abys and in both places I've had a burger & chips. At the American restaurant the meal was plentiful and very nice. At Abys the meal was absolutely fabulous. I had a beefburger with bacon and oodles of melted cheese, with onion rings, a little side salad with a dressing and the most gorgeous chunky but fried chips. Both Fluffy and Crispy at the same time. I will return for the same, many times. Absolutely marvellous. Oh, and the service was outstanding, as always. Nick

Ordered a tea. Received a pot of tea, spare pot of hot water and a Lotus Biscoff biscuit to go with it. Ordered a White bait special, that comes with chips and a salad. Received all of these, as well as a small portion of pasta and coleslaw. Excellent place to order food and/or drinks from.

We enjoyed a meal here, we sat outside with our dogs. Staff asked us if we needed water for the dogs. Meals were lovely! Good portions. Staff informed us of a wait on food but we happy to wait- ended up being a shorter wait that predicted.

What a lovely place! Fantastic location right by the beach. Firstly the staff are brilliant, always smiling polite and attentive. They really care if you enjoy your time there. We went twice in the few days we were in the area. (Its worth travelling for though). As a group of 5, ranging from 15 to 42, we had various foods, vegetarian, Gluten free, vegan. Milkshakes, Coffee's. The Buffet breakfast is not cheap but is Fantastic value. Basically when you see what you can have, and the quality of food, the price is a bargain. Two of group decided to order from menu rather then buffet breakfast, one had poached eggs with avocado, the other scrambled eggs with salmon. Portion was excellent, food delightful. Both would not stop talking about it. The only unfortunate thing was we kept filling up before we got to sweet treats, which again looked yum. Again they offer things to cater for various diets. If we lived closer it would 100% be our favourite place. But we live 150 miles away. But it has made us want to return to the area. Just to add we were staying on a holiday park, with facilities minutes away. But we chose to travel 15 minutes by car to revisit. Overall I cannot praise this place enough. I try to always be honest in my reviews, but I personally can't find fault. Well done Ashton and team

We had a lovely lunch today. Two had a special which was local whitebait. It was huge! The portion was generous with pasta and chips too. Very delicious. The sandwich ordered had a good amount of filling, it filled the whole sandwich (something that happens rarely at places now). We ordered a chicken burger which came with salad and chips too. There was no salad inside the burger but we just put the salad from the plate in the burger! It was all very lovely and really well priced. The staff were very friendly and service was outstanding and felt really personal. Would love to visit again if we get a chance!

Popped in here on a cold blowy March day. The place was full and bustling. We were squeezed on to a table with some other guests. The staff were fantastic - their feet did not touch the floor as they looked after all the customers. We were seen quickly but advised there was a wait for the food. So we ordered and sat back for a long wait. (but not as long as they said) The drinks arrived and then followed by the food - we weren't disappointed. Absolutely delicious and filling. I can highly recommend eating here.

Stopped here to have a welcomed cold drink after a pretty long walk and it was also a hot day. Sat outside where you could see the beach and sea. From what I could see it looks a decent place and worth a visit.
