First time I'd been in for 4 years, great pub, top bar staff, enjoyed the band on the Saturday afternoon I was there, good friendly atmosphere, they was serving Carribbean food which looked lovely but I only had the beers, will visit more often. Must say I love the decking area.

An all round decent pub, food and drink are both ok and its relatively comfortable. There is plenty of outdoor seating. Bit dated inside but still kept in good clean order. Staff are friendly and competent. I would recommend giving this place a go if you were passing by

Just had my first bacon baguette from there on tiger bread and wow the best I have had.bacon done perfect and the baguette loaf spot on.very friendly staff.highly recommended.
Went in there last May friendly atmosphere unlike the Greyhound in Sutton Stop where if your face doesn't fit don't go in the only thing about the Boat is the overpowering Jukebox

Friendly staff. Was there for an engagement party, hospitality was amazing and the atmosphere of the place is wonderful. True classic pub experience. Best pint of Guinness also!
Went round with a couple of friends sat outside and had a bite to eat it was good . The only down side was customers were playing there own music outside which wasn't to everyone's taste .
Decided to try the Sunday dinner as we can walk there from our narrowboat. My GOD..amazing. the roasties, the veg, cauli cheese 😘 and the gravy...no words peeps 🥰💋💋
