We thank you for an incredible Birthday party for our daughter, she turned 7! The event was very stylish, unusual, interesting and rewarding for the kids! All the children were involved in the dancing. The parents were able to socialize and get to know each other. And we really enjoyed your video of the party:)
My daughter had a wonderful time at her Baby Ballet birthday party. The children and their grown ups were made to feel very welcome. She's loves her ballet and asked especially for a ballet party. It was just what she had hoped for. It was also suitable for her friends that had never tried ballet. I would definitely recommend it 👌.
My daughter and her friends enjoyed her 4th Birthday Party. As a parents, I didn't have to worry of anything - just watching how everyone smiles. Highly recommended!
We held my daughters 7th birthday party with DanSci. From a parent perspective, it was a completely stress free option. The party goers all had a great time, playing warm up games and learning a short routine, which we got to keep a lovely video of. The staff were friendly and welcoming and took care of everything. Would definitely recommend: my daughter can’t wait to go back to try the dance classes!
My daughter had a dance party here for her 7th birthday and I could not recommend it more highly- she and her friends had a wonderful time and everything was so well taken care of that it felt positively relaxing for me as a parent! The video and photos we received afterwards were particularly appreciated as a fantastic memento of the day. She's still dancing on air over 24 hours later.
DanSci Dance studio has been my daughter's little sanctuary ever since we have moved to Exeter! Miss Ava and her wonderful team absolutely master the impressive art of teaching discipline with fun and smiles without a fail!! Weekly classes as much as personalised birthday parties are at high standard with full dedication and commitment of senior teachers and their keen assistants. DanSci is truly one of Exeter's gems when it comes to learning how to dance, keep fit and make friends for small and big!
My 11 year old daughter had a dance party here for 20+ friends, learning a routine of a track she'd chosen. The girls all had a blast and loved the cafe afterwards to have much deserved pizza and cake! The staff were so helpful and friendly and we were supplied a video and photos of the event afterwards. A truly great and memorable birthday event. Thank you Dansci.
My Daughter, nearly 12 has been going to DanSci since she was 5 and she still loves it as much now as she did then. It is a place where she feels completely happy. The staff are amazing, friendly, encouraging people who bring the best out of all that go through their doors. My daughter does Tap and Ballet and the benefits of going to DanSci have been seen throughout her life with improved co-ordination, confidence to perform/just get up in front of a group of people but most of all it has given her the confidence to be herself. We cannot recommend the DanSci family highly enough.
My daughter started at Dansci at the age of 2 doing the baby ballet classes, she now does the tappers class as well & thoroughly enjoys both. Whilst learning they have lots of fun and it helps build confidence. Highly Recommend!
My son absolutely loves Baby Ballet - he grins the whole time! I also go to tap at DanSci - everyone is really friendly and the studio is great. Definitely recommend for people of all ages!
A perfect place of young and old to dip their toe into the world of dance. The ethos of the studio is very much making dance available for all. It is not a competitive environment, it is relaxed and helps you to develop at your pace in a place where everyone matters and there is no 'I in team'. My children have been using the studio for the last 7 years and they have grown as the studio has grown. The studio has grown but the fantastic team of staff have never grown tired. Their enthusiam, warmth, kindness and understanding have been consistent. Just on a note of safety, the team really do understand how the body functions and how in children growing bodies need to be looked after and not pushed or strained in anyway that will cause problems in the future.
Our 6yr old twin daughters absolutely love learning to dance with DanSci. We tried another dance school before we found DanSci and it was too serious and monotonous for them (they were only 4 at the time), with too much pressure on learning for exams/grading.
DanSci's main priority is encouraging children/teens/adults to love dancing (which is primarily why our girls do it at the moment!) and they balance this perfectly with teaching the skills & techniques needed to also be good at it!
The fact they have an onsite cafe is an absolute bonus as my Husband and I can squeeze in a quick coffee date whilst the girls are in their lesson. It's a win all round!
I can't recommend them highly enough!

DanSci is a lovely studio that has clearly had a lot of work, time and dedication put into it.Owner, Ava Baron, as well as other staff and studio members, are extremely welcoming and make you feel very at home.
A varied range of classes and activities run on a drop-in basis in a very safe and comfortable environment. Teachers and staff are very energetic and I have always seen students finish class with a smile on their face.
As a working dance professional, I would highly recommend DanSci Dance Studio as a safe, fun and welcoming environment with plenty of new classes to try.
My daughter loves her acro dance class. She doesn't have other friends attending the class but she has been made to feel welcome and is getting to know the other children.
We love Danasci and spent many happy sessions there doing BabyBallet and Acro tots and adults acro. The staff are the most passionate dedicated and fabulous people. Can’t recommend them enough.
My boy is 8 and has autism, it's not easy to find a hobby for him. He has been turned away, asked to leave or just treated differently at a lot of places. That's not the case here, his teacher Miss Julia and all the students are just fantastic. From the first day they've really made him feel really welcome, he looks forward to going each week and thoroughly enjoys himself!

A fantastic studio with great facilities offering a wide range of classes from ballet to street as well as fitness. I love using the studio because they care about the individual not numbers and go out of their way to ensure you work hard but have fun too. Now I just have to work on my ballet and street!
