The meal was nice. I like that it came with a free salad bar, where you can go and choose for yourself, what you like. Price around £15-£20.
If I have reviewed the Exeter branch last week (Sept 3, 2023) I would have given them a 3 star as meal presentation was pretty basic like you were eating at home. I bought 3bags and I received 3 full meal for more than 3 pers. I am so happy with the food I get, very friendly staff, I felt very welcome. This was a second time ordering from Harvester. First time I have got for 2bags :2 roasted chickens ( whole chickens) plus salads.
We were just looking for a place to eat but we found this gem.
Very friendly staff, very clean and beautiful place.
Food was AMAZING!! We were caught by surprise with the freshness and taste of the meals.
Even though 450miles separate us, hopefully one day will be able to visit again :)

Fantastic service from the moment we arrived and throughout our meal from all the staff serving. We really enjoyed our food, hot and tasty 😋.
Easy to find and plenty of parking staff were very helpful and friendly, they also have a lady who can do sign language for hard of hearing people very impressed with that, food was delicious and the lemon desert was fabulous
Nice surroundings and very friendly staff member. They were struggling for staff when we went so were only allowing in those who had registered. This also meant that service was slow. We weren't in too much of a hurry so this didn't matter to us.
Lovely staff (apologies, forgot to ask your name, but you were working this afternoon, 22nd Oct), the food was excellent and plentiful and the kids take away desserts were large!
Only went there to charge up the car!

One small suggestion - can you provide spoons with the take
We arrived without booking and the staff found us a table.
They offered and provided us with crayons and activities for the kids, which went down well.
The area was clean and tidy, and the staff were very pleasant.
Food was very nice, price was to be expected, not too cheap but not overly expensive.
Nikki waited on us and was absolutely amazing, we have two children with autism and she was so kind to them. Great service and lovely food. Will be back thank you

Handy location on the river with lovely views from the restaurant windows.
Great choice at Salad Bar. I'm so glad it's all back to self-service now. Refillable drinks are available. Good menu choice with reasonable wait times. Hot and tasty food. Great selection of desserts.
Such a lovely place to eat and have a drink compared to the previous owners.
The food is so much better. If anything too many options to choose from but thats a good thing.
Service is great they have a good system set up in there. Very clean and the staff are lovely.
Have a been a few times now
We had a lovely lunch. There is a fantastic menu with lots of choice. The food was excellent all round. Steak was cooked as desired, burgers were tasty, love their chips. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was friendly and fun. We will definitely be going again.
We booked our table in advance and all six of us were quickly seated,given time to study the menu while drink order was taken..We all had a really good meal (after unlimited salad)which was served piping hot and all together.Will definitely return..
Great traditional looking pub just behind a river. Large and spacious with parking (make sure you register your number plate inside!).
Food is good, plenty of veggie/vegan options, portions are great and plenty of salad bar options.
Could do with a little variety away from halloumi in the vegetaria
We have visited several times and enjoy the food and the service is usually very good. Last visit the salad bar was very poor and the sauces not replenished and so not able to get the choice wanted, no staff able to assist. Overall lovely place to visit for a meal or just a drink and the service can
Haven't been here in a long time but as our son came down from Wales for couple days we decided to go glad we did had a lovely meal and dessert 🍨 will go again 👍🏻
