I have been wanting to try this place for a long time so today we strolled down and it did not disappoint- fresh food food for breakie which was amazing...
pancakes were just... well they were incredible. And fresh juice drinks, I also had to have a milkshake. And it that was also awesome.
my friend and her little boy loved it and me and my little one loved it also, defo will be coming back xxx
we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast so popped in , it is a very clean little cafe and the young staff members were very friendly I had a full English breakfast which was presented very well and tasted fantastic! My wife had beans with melted cheese on top which looked really nice again well presented and she said tasted great !
We will definitely be using the cafe again, I can't recommend it higher well done to you
We will definitely be going back
Even though this place is the other end of the City, I will go out of my way to visit. Lovely atmosphere, and staff and an incredible Veggie Sausage Sarni. They allow dogs which is a plus for me, so I can take my poodle along. Love the place so much I have booked it as a venue for an upcoming event. Becky has gone out of her way to help me plan the event. Highly recommend.
A really good cafe tucked away in Exeter. Excellent value food and great tasting coffee - worth the detour out of the city for this great cafe
Just popped in for a spot of light lunch and was thoroughly impressed. Freshly cooked, tasty food ~ friendly and helpful staff. Will definately come back ļæ½

Fabulous place. Highly recommend their chocolate pizza!!!!! Absolutely yummy. Friendly staff. I will be back soon
Amazing food made with great passion and care, great layout and decor, trooped with very friendly and genuine staff, this really does make for a great CafƩ and a welcome change from the usual cooperate Chains! Good job! :-)
Little gem of an eaterie! Beautifully presented food with a friendly service. You don't feel rushed to leave, very chilled place!
Visited for brunch this morning and oh my goodness how have I not visited you before!? I had the most delicious Pancakes with Nutella topped with juicy strawberries. Great value for money and charming interior, I could have sat there all day. Will definitely be back to try the eggs and avocado!
Really lovely cafe under great new ownership. Really yummy home made pizza, great breakfasts, fab cocktails, kooky decor and lovely relaxed environment. Thanks for being a great local cafe bar.
Beautifully cooked breakfast for 4, and an excellent flat white! Will be back again to try the lunch menu

Radical Veggie breakfast at No 1 Polsloe (even if it was 1pm...), cheers guys!
Excellent full English - best I've had in ages. Highly recommended. Lovely chilled atmosphere too.
So pleased that someone is making this cafe great! Really nice having this just around the corner!
One of my favourite places to brunch in Exeter, great food, coffee, cakes, cosy & the people that run the place are lovely too! š
A solid place to get breakfast or lunch in the local area, which is much needed. The menu is quite small, which is fine as the food is done well. It can be difficult to get a table sometimes, and the seating is quite compact. If you donāt mind this I would happily recommend.
This cafe has changed hands but is still really nice. Had the cheesy beans (etc) on toast which was great. The staff were friendly, my friend spilt a coffee all over our cake and they kindly replaced it!
Visited for Saturday morning breakfast with the family. Really great food, friendly service, relaxed atmosphere and reasonable prices. Only negative comment is they donāt do childrenās portions. We asked but they could only offer individual priced items from full English breakfast. He ordered the (adult sized) American pancacks in the end but he only manage half so was a bit of a waste of food and money. Fix this and this place would get a perfect five stars.
The BEST breakfast in Exeter! The staff are always so friendly and accommodating. The food is super fresh, lovingly prepared and perfectly cooked. They also do amazing milkshakes and pancakes if you have the room after your cooked breakfast.
Honestly really cute cafe, decent prices, chai latte nice and foamy Ā£3.20. Good study spot with hear radio in the background. I wish it was open for a bit longer though!
Vegan breakfast is very nice!!! Add an extra salmon and this combination is incredibly deliciousā¤ļø The latte...I would say itās the best latte Iāve tried in Exeter so for...The decorations in the cafe is lovely as well! Greens everywhere š highly recommend!!
Just had the vegan special which has rarebit and hashbrown and sausage- with the hot sauce
It was so tasty xx
This little cafe definitely exceeded our expectations, the breakfast we had was one of the better ones in Exeter quality and presentation-wise, coffees were properly made, and staff we're excellent!
A lovely little cafƩ which serves great food and drink. The only drawback is there aren't many seats.

more smiling faces would have made it 5
Very nice cup of tea and two poached eggs on toast... a tad pricey though. Had to get up and close the entrance door two or three times, left ajar by careless customers...š
Great little cafe. Very good coffee.
My girlfriend had been wanting to take me to this cafe for ages. We had tried previously but it was too busy to get in, but it is well worth the wait!
We were about to leave as it didn't look like we were going to get a seat, until on table excitedly knocked on the window to say we could take their table, with a look on their faces which said: "you have to try this place!".
We got in and ordered a coffee and tea (the coffee was especially lush!) and took in the ambience of the place including the brick wall, the range of foliage dotted about and the choice of art hanging around the place.
Being a designer myself I felt truly inspired being in there and would absolutely love to take myself in there to work. And that's before the food came out!
I have lived in Exeter my whole life, and never before have I had a Full English Breakfast like this before! It was by far the best I have had (not including my Nan's... sorry, I'm biased) and would absolutely recommend, especially as it doesn't break the bank.
Overall it was a really nice experience and is certainly one of the (very) hidden treasures of Exeter, which makes it all the more special.
Thanks again No. 1 Polsloe, I'll be in again soon!

Ownership has changed hands so wanted to revisit to see if the coffee is still as good as before! It's still delicious! No 1 posloe is a fave local coffee place of mine, excited to go and try their food next time too! Thank you!!
Excellent cafe, caters for all diets and there is some fabulous artwork to look at/buy whilst you eat. Lots of delicious options on the menu to choose from, whether you want some wholesome avo on toast or something a little more sweet. If you are in the area and want to go to a fantastic brunch spot, this is a must see!
Best avocado place in Exeter!
