What a lovely find we travelled to Exeter for a day out. Whilst walking along the canal we found this charming coffee shop which served coffee and a lovely flapjack. Worth a visit should you walk by
Great place to visit for a cuppa. Friendly staff and interesting surroundings. Will definitely visit again 😀
This has to be the best place on the quay for coffee R&R in a contemporary and bohemian surroundings with a choice of sofas its hard to know which one is best- carrot cake to die for the only thing to say about this coffee lounge is ahhhhhhh X ps try out the black velvety throne very grand....
Best coffee an the quay!
Shared a panini with by two year old last week, who thought it was the best thing ever, and it was pretty great.
They were also kind enough to let me and a friend sit on a sofa while they opened up, so we could feed two tiny, hungry babies before ordering our coffee when they were officially open. Superb service, friendly staff, and great atmosphere. Definitely my new favourite!
Excellent cappuccino, amazing carrot cake, friendly staff, comfy sofas, loved it!

I Love their coffee and the friendly welcome. A great place to sit and watch the world go by.
What a fantastic place! We’ve been here a few times now and it just gets better with every visit. The coffee is always great and the offer of cakes always tempting. The quayside seating is ideal to sit and enjoy your coffee anytime of the day and the staff are always so welcoming. Inside is great too With its quirky but elegant styling. A firm favourite rain or shine.
Super setting and a lovely lunch with you yesterday x She loved the soup (tasty spinach & lentil, a bit spiced) x Thanks changing bacon for tomato in my panini, great & tasty salad bits x
Wow at the setting in Exeter Quaiside, the decor, lemur, wooden screens. I'll be back x
The place is beautiful and wonderful, and the view of the river is distinctive.. Nice treatment from the staff.. and the food was delicious
We didn’t stop for food, because unfortunately the cafe was out of what we wanted, instead the staff gave us an excellent recommendation and even called them to make sure it wasn’t a wasted trip. It was so kind and lovely and it will definitely lead us back for desert. Go there!
Lovely staff, great coffee, fab view of the river ☺️
This is one of favourite coffee shops, not because I think their coffee or cakes are the best. It is rather because of it's location and the unique atmosphere it has. Coffee and cakes are good; my mum complained that her cappuccino was too cold (she does like it being the temperature of lava though). The service is good as well, but I do think that they will struggle to serve people quickly during busy periods. I have only visited during quiet periods. I absolutely adore the decor which is a combination of vintage and bohemian. Take a look at my photos to see the amazing location. (Shop does have free wifi)
A very quirky and eclectic environment with an extremely friendly and nice owner. We went past this place and it was full; we went back and decided to go for takeaway. Their cakes looked great and their coffee too. Pop by this place for a nice experience.
Brilliant, frist coffee in 15 years so had to go to the best place.... Stunning coffee really enjoyed it..... Highly recommended the carrot cake outstanding xxx

Cosy, friendly, interesting and quirky place with wonderful vintage interior and outside river view seats too. Great for smoothies, coffees, cakes, soup and also great place to relax, read, play board games. Recommended!
A charming little place: cosy in the winter amongst the quirky eclectic decor in a former quay warehouse; and wonderful views of the quay outside with shade in the summer. The coffee is delicious and the cakes are mouth-watering.
Some slight negatives: they have an erratic policy on when the café is open, and it is often hard to tell if it is open. One can turn up around 4pm, with lots of customers eating and drinking inside and out, and they will say abruptly to new arrivals that the café is closed. The brusqueness with which they announce this - as if you have offended them by turning up - is rude. Their opening hours have intermittently been indicated on the door, but they invariably ignored them and closed early.
The back of the café has recently been closed off to children's buggies - and presumably to wheelchair users too? - but it's not clear why.
Service is often slow, inefficient and without smiles or warmth. Be prepared for requests for non-dairy milk to be met with bafflement or an unapologetic No. However, I think this is just the natural manner of the server, so please try not to take it personally!
So the 4 stars are generous, but my affection for the place is what pushes up the rating!
Lovely place by the quay, we had delicious scone with generous amount of toppings and excellent cup of coffee to pair.
Great ambiance with nice decos and outdoor seating by the river exe. Fantastic for brunch or an afternoon tea.

Friendly service, good food and most importantly great hot drinks as well.
Thankyou and loved the brownie 🍫☕😄
Very cute place on the quay that does a nice Devon cream tea. The cheese scones are great and the jam was good too
This is a lovely spot to sit outside on the Quayside and people watch whilst sipping a coffee.
Very nice place on the quay. Great coffee milkshakes made with real coffee. Run by a friendly guy, makes a good time. He brings additional milkshake to top up your glass when you're finished. Wide variety available. High quality. Recommended
Such a lovely, friendly little place. More cake please!
Popped in for a coffee.
Great cosy little coffee place.
