Yum, yes! What a delicious little spot! I’ve been a few times now and have been impressed each time. The food is so good and feels fresh and thoughtful. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. It can get busy but there is plenty of outdoor seating if you can’t find a spot inside. Happy to have found a consistently great lunch spot in the city centre.
I’ve visited Chando’s for a number of years - always impressed with the food offering.

My partner and I ordered 2 sandwiches, a quiche, a cake and two iced lattes. The ham and cheese one was lovely, I wasnt a fan of the leeks though but still 8.4/10. The halloumi sando was bloody lovely, I give it a 8.8/10 but my partner found it a bit too sweet so she said 7/10. I found the sandos crunchy and good texture, my partner felt they were a bit soggy. So bit contradictory really. The pesto and ham quiche was bloody incredible, easily 9.4/10. The orea cake was 9.2/10. Coffees were alright too. Nice location, sat outside in the sun. Be careful of birds stealing your sandos. Really friendly staff, complimented my partners top and joking with us.
Very very lovely cafe with a range of fresh sandwiches and lots of coffee options. Splendid vibes! The iced chai here is exceptional, I recommend with the oat milk £3.50. It’s nice to go to a independent coffee shop! :)
I always go with an avocado & halloumi sandwich, it’s delicious and very filling. The service is amazing, staff are friendly and attentive. The only two reasons why this place is not 5 is one because of its high prices, and two because the food smell will stick to your clothes if you dine in. That’s my opinion
Good sandwich house and deli. My tuna sandwich was full of filling and we had pleasant seats in front of the building in the warm autumn sunshine.
Definitely the best toasties in Exeter are at Chandos! Very good coffee also, very nice staff, everything is fresh and delicious!
Nice to see Chandos still doing well. Lovely to call by for a quick lunch and coffee. Fantastic sandwich selection (all ready for toasting) plus excellent coffee. Lots of other lunch options plus high quality deli items. Plenty of seating both inside and out.
Best blueberry muffin we ever had, coffee latte and hot chocolate really nice too.
Place looks tiny however very cozy.

Loved the place! They offer both indoor and outdoor seating which is great. The food is amazing and the prices are super affordable! I had the most delicious sandwich ever in my life. After my first visit , I couldn't resist coming back to try other stuff on their menu.
I honestly use to not rate this place, but of late I've returned and it's blown me away - food and drink wise. Staff are nice also. You pay a premium here, but I do think it is really nice food.
Great food. Shame strawberry and cream milkshake didnt taste of strawberries. Rest of food excellent. Good quick service.
Really good food, the roll was absolutely packed to the brim and couldn't fit anymore in. Would recommend a visit if in the area.
We've been back a few times, coffee and food always good. My only gripe...The queueing and ordering are not well thought out, come up with a better system.
Service was a tad slow however was apologized straight away, hot chocolate was lovely and was a lovely place to waste half an hour.Even had a lady come collect items when leaving and got thanked when leaving. Would definitely recommend stopping by and trying it.

Had coffee here several times. Decided to go for the decaf version. Couldn't tell it was decaf, just as delicious. Had a slice of polenta cake and it was lovely. Service was prompt and polite. Large range of sandwiches.
Wow that was deeeelicous, Ellie served me and gave the best customer service I’ve everrrrr had wowee. Would come again!! She even brought my drink to the table!!! I couldn’t believe it
