Went to have lunch today with my sister and Nan. Staff were excellent. Very friendly.
Always have the 1/2 chicken because I absolutely love the southern style gravy.
My nan had the fish and chips. I tried some myself and I have to say it was the best fish I have ever tried. It was perfect. Recommended to the gentlemen that were sat on the next table. Which the ordered.
Choc orange bread and butter pudding is to die for.

Very nice service, we were running late but the table was still waiting for us. The food is amazing and served very quickly. Our waitress was very polite, and professional. She deserved a few £££ tip at the end.

Very quiet at the restaurant. There was a sign on door stating only reservations allowed as low staff numbers. Food was good though a bit expensive. Service a bit slow. Reasonable menu choice including kids menu.
We were taken straight to our table. Drinks ordered and meal choices taken shortly afterwards. Slight disappointment with two drinks. We ordered two sweet ciders, but what arrived were cherry flavoured which we didn't like We didn't ask for a different flavour, just wanted a normal tasting cider . When we mentioned this, new drinks were given with no problem at all. Other than this, the meal was a great success. Everyone enjoyed their meal Thank you.
It was very busy for a Monday but we were dealt with straight away we were a table of eight but it was quite tight for space so our waitress Tracey was very obliging added another table with no fuss. Food was great . Bonus we had our 30%off.

Absolutely extraordinary service! Tracy was our waitress and she went above and beyond for us. She ensured our little boy ate all of his dinner- even going out of her way to offer a spoon when she was already busy. Absolutely exceptional lady, chatty and friendly! Extreme credit to the team. She is the reason we return.
Surprisingly good. Outside and seating areas a little rough (grass in need of tidying and seats need repainting and could do with maybe some flowers baskets)? However inside...what a lovely suprise ! Food was really good, service excellent and the decor really new pub themed .
It was a really tough night for the bar as they were short staffed, but despite the challenges, they made us feel very welcome. Special credit to Tracey who seems to know how to talk to individual customers and meet their needs. She also deserves special credit for putting up with my mother for a few hours!! :) and the food was lovely as always!
We came here on father's day due to a very rude encounter at another restaurant. We tried our luck here and Tracey was more than helpful at finding us a suitable table as a family and even got us as close to the play area for the children. She was very well mannered and welcoming. The waitress that served us was also very polite and nice.
The food we had was outstanding and we will definitely be returning again soon.
The food was very good tonight, and the service by our waitress Tracey at Pinhoe Hoard was very professional. Tracey is very cheerful, humorous and knows how to engage with customers. Tracey is clearly a very experienced waitress and an asset to the Pinhoe Hoard. On this experience alone, I am confident we will be back to the Pinhoe Hoard in the near future, thank you Tracey.
We arrived approx 13:00, group of six with someone’s birthday. We had the roasts which were excellent. Tracey served us, she was friendly, funny and attentive. Great service from her, thank you.
Curry was very good. Manager on his own but was very efficient. One thing let it down the coffee only Americano decaffeinated and no Oat milk etc
Welcomed with a smile and a genuine caring attitude from Tracey. She was so attentive and friendly. The food was hot when it arrived and tasty. The calamari was especially yummy, not at all greasy. Thanks for a great date lunch!
Firstly I would like to mention the waitress Tracey. When we arrived until when we left she was amazing, friendly attentive and helpful. We were in a rush as this was our first night out with out the kids in a long long time and we had booked to see a film. It was busier than I had imagined being a Monday night and Tracey was paying so much attention to everyone and interacting with her customers. If we were in charge of a venue we would love all our staff to be like her so please pass on our thanks. We had a chargrilled salad and a mixed grill. The food tasted lovely and the salad looked nice. The only thing I would say was for the mixed grill it was all squashed on a small sized plate. Perhaps a different way of playing this up would be beneficial.

A good food oriented pub with excellent service! Came here with my parents and we really enjoyed it. Good value for money and lovely food. However what really made it a excellent experience was Tyler our server who was friendly, knowledgeable and responsive! We will be back!
