We visited Wagamama in Exeter, for the first time in their chain. I told our Greeter that I am allergic to shellfish and intolerant to heat of any food or spice. He was kind, thoughtful and a check with the head chef , suggested the most bland dish. My husband had a nice and spicy dish. We also had a nice wine and beer, plus iced tap water. The waiting staff were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was very welcoming, with families eating out after school and couples and groups.
My bland dish was very suitable for me, as I found it tasty enough. A very nice change for a couple of boring eaters.
Well!! I went to Wagamama in Bath...seems like a hundred years ago....but didn't enjoy it and have never been back. But now I am so glad I did. This time in chilled out Exeter. And I absolutely loved it !! My Yaki soba was delicious and the small dishes were sooo tasty too. It comes at a price though because it is expensive and the chicken and prawn was difficult to find. Nice atmosphere not particularly relaxing as we could see 8 chefs slaving away in close proximity. That's probably why it's expensive. Nice Isahi beer...again pricey at £6.50 a bottle. Friendly service and all in all a super time....

Atmosphere throughout the restaurant was buzzing with food excitement, happy faces on every table.
Food...out of this umami world!! The glow on peoples faces when plates and bowls land in front of them, the food smiles were wonderful to see.
Service never stopped a second. Everyone on the floor and kitchen moving and working together, even with smiles.
Hats off to you all. Great tables checks, nice chat with the duty manager on the door, and the floor team were all engaged and doing what they should do best.
Highly recommend. This is what we were born to enjoy.
Deffo worth the 10 minute wait in the que.

Great food good location, menu was limited but we visited late on Sunday evening. Will definitely be back.

I came from London to Exeter for my university and I wanted to quickly grab some lunch on Friday before my journey back to London. I was greeted by a lady named Brooke, and served by her colleague named Fei Fei. I have to say; I have never received such world class high quality customer service in my life! I’m not exaggerating at all! As a Muslim, I already had doubts walking into Wagamama as I felt I might be “out of place” but Brooke and Fei Fei made me and my colleague feel extremely comfortable. And they even took their time out to converse with us and go through the menu with us in such a polite and patient manner.
Please do show them this review and give them a pay rise!
Overall Wagamama had a great selection of high quality food and drinks. They also offer freshly made juices, which were fantastic. To order and to pay was very simple and smooth as you could pay through a QR-code process. Overall very great place with great food with the best staff ever!
This was the first time myself and my girlfriend had eaten here. Our friend took us as he recommended it and couldn't believe we had never been to a wagamama before. The food is delicious and it's great that it comes out as it is ready! Good range of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. Service was good although they did make a slight error with our friends main and bought out the slightly different version. Luckily as he's vegan it was also a vegan option. We all thoroughly enjoyed it and will go again soon !
Food was fantastic. Expect a wait outside until a table becomes free.... the food is that good.

Room was very loud... might be an problem for those with sensory issues. Also not very wheelchair friendly as it's cramped and super busy.
Superb food and quick service. We had a selection of prawn starters and bang bang cauliflower to start, all delicious. Tofu Pad Thai for mains and caramel miso ice cream(one enough to share) for desert. Will certainly return.
We didn't wait long for a table (you don't book, you just show up). Food arrived quickly, but my friend's ramen didn't appear and after querying, it was with us about 10 minutes later. Payment is really easy as you scan the QR code which allows you to settle online and split the bill between your table. Food was delicious. It is noisy in there due to the number and close proximity of people - so be prepared to raise your voice and ask people to repeat things.
Had brilliant Father's day meal.
Got there for 12pm and walked straight in, no wait for table.
Server was very attentive, everything arrived promptly from drinks to mains.
Absolutely smooth experience and amazing food.

Apart from the food being exactly what we wanted, We were super happy to have Anya as our waiter tonight. Despite the busy-ness of the evening she was always there and happy to help, even managing clever menu manipulations to get my daughter a grown up version of her favourite kids menu dish and without any fuss :) she kept us informed at every stage, was just the right kind of friendly and kind and we all agreed she was the best waiter we’ve ever had :) Thanks Anya!

The service is great! If you're happy with food coming out randomly (which we totally are) it's a great place for lunch or casual evening meal. Really good menu. Tasty! If you see a queue DO NOT PANIC it moves really quickly!

it was very busy when my partner and I got dinner here tonight, but we still got a table, were served, and received our food very quickly. The servers were very attentive and friendly and the food was amazing as always. Just as we went to left it started to pour with rain, and a lovely blonde server noticed and offered us an umbrella, really above and beyond!
lovely restaurant, the food is really amazing if you haven't eaten food like this before i promise you, you’ll find something you love 🙏 the staff are really polite and the food is quickly served honestly the best ramen ive had. really recommend coming here!
