Eat for the first time earlier this week after having this cafe recommended to us. It was sooo good we returned today. Can personally highly recommend the chickenless burger and Hawaiin toastie both very tasty. No problem with any delays but appreciate it is likely to be busier at the weekends in which case I would say be prepared to wait, sit back and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere....the food is delicious and worth the wait. And if you don’t want a full meal their cakes are worth a visit..on both visits we have taken cake away with us. Such a good find and a welcome change from the run-of-the-mill chain restaurants. Will definitely be returning!

A fantastic 100% vegan cafe with a choice between naughty and healthy. I love the quinoa and walnut burger as it has loads of nutrition and taste. The cakes in Rabbit are something else, love it! Definitely worth a visit <3

My first visit last night with my daughter who is a fan of The Rabbit. Their food did not disappoint! The quiche ‘lorraine’ was gorgeous. The biscoff and raspberry sundae was the icing on the cake. Can’t wait to come back during the day to experience one of their milkshakes. We also took some Hazlenut and chocolate torte home with us to share with the rest of the family. If you are in the area The Rabbit is definitely worth a visit. The art work on the walls is amazing 😍

Just come and try the burgers, they are incredible! Such an awesome focus on flavours, you’ll leave feeling satisfied for sure, and wanting to come back for more.. my only gripe is that the ventilation meant that the greasy fumes from the fryer stayed with me for the rest of the day, get this sorted and I’d give it a full recommendation!

I was recommended to go here by a colleague and I was absolutely thrilled. I ordered the SFC burger which was delicious. The coating was spicy and crunchy, the chips delicious and the coleslaw homemade. I also got to choose what dressing I wanted for coleslaw. I had a really short wait which was important as I was on my lunch break. I took away the mocha torte which was incredible. So so delicious. If you are in Exeter you MUST GO! Oh. And the decor is quirky. Just as you would hope for an independent place. There is even a historical well to keep things interesting!

Super lovely food. I had mac and cheeze with half side salad and half chips. Blueberry cheesecake (slightly too sweet for me but still good) for dessert and heartwarming yogi tea. Nice atmosphere with wall paintings and actual pond on the Café. Very cool place. They had sofa as well which made the place like sitting in someone's living-dining room. Staffs were friendly

After hearing such good things about this café my husband and I were finally able to see for ourselves and we were mega impressed! We did something from the ‘virtue’ side of the menu and something from the ‘vice’ side and shared a side order of mac n cheeze- they were really great and offered to do a half portion for us even though they don’t advertise sides etc. I had a seitan burger, hubby had the Moroccan chickpea pie, both came with delicious rainbow slaw salads. The mac n cheeze was a knockout winner, with smoky bacun bits and a lovely creamy sauce. We even got a dessert slice to go!! We’ll definitely be back.

This place is wonderful. Their food is fantastic and so full of flavor. I highly recommend their cheeseburger as it just melts in the mouth and really fills you up. It's a little bit out the way from the City Centre, but it's definitely worth the walk, they are very friendly and the place has a lovely warm and natural feel. If it's busy however, be expected to have a long wait, though it's worth waiting for when your food does come over to you. Everything there is suitable for vegans, they also have deserts and milkshakes.

I had a really tasty sushi inspired vegan bowl that was super yummy followed by an equally delicious torte. The rest of the family had burgers and hotdogs which went down a treat which is always an achievement with my family's picky tastes! The cafe was lovely and very relaxed. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Even has its own well! Would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area!

I can't fault this place. I've been here for breakfast, lunch and now I've sampled the dinner options and every time I have an incredible meal. To know it's all vegan too is so good but anyone who isn't vegan would also love it. You will leave feeling full and your stomach dancing a happy dance. The staff have always been nothing but amazing and I can't praise them enough. I'm so happy now they do a dinner menu and I can't recommend the burgers enough!

Delicious plant based food! Extensive menu and kids menu too. We all polished off our plates. Cannot fault the food or service, lovely staff, so helpful and friendly. Adorable setting that my kids loved too. My husband wants to return for his birthday so we'll definitely be back.

I went here for the first time today with friends who were visiting from Cardiff. Having had food elsewhere beforehand we were not overly hungry so opted for a hot drink & something sweet. I had the Snickers torte with a coffee & my friend the cheesecake with hot chocolate. My coffee was really nice & the torte was really really good. I did try the cheesecake & that was really good too. My friend enjoyed both his cheesecake & hot chocolate. I enjoyed the torte so much that I bought another since plus a pistachio & rose torte to take home. Based on the other few reviews moaning about things, well yes the decor isn't necessarily a standard you see in your average place, but it's not your average place, what with it being a vegan café in a county that is heavily farming, agriculture & meat geared. Also times wise we didn't experience today, but to be fair it's freshly made food & the people sat next to us who appeared to have had the hot dog meal it looked well worth any wait & was a very generous size, even for myself I think I'd be quite full after eating it. If you want fast food there is plenty of other places to visit. I also didn't witness any form of prejudice against anyone regarding them being vegan, vegetarian or not while there. It possibly seems like someone who may not be vegan/vegetarian having a bit of a moan for the sake of giving a poor rating. I really hope that I get to go again very soon!

Took my Daughter and Son here when they started University, eating in is certainly "an experience". But the food is well priced for students and fills you up, oh and it tastes great. Just those cakes are a bit addictive!

This is honestly the best cafe I've ever been too! The food is amazingly tasty and no addictives. Desserts and cakes, lunches, breakfasts and lovely drinks. Would highly recommend the milkshakes and soup. Even my boyfriend who loves meat came with me to Rabbit for lunch and found it so yummy he wants to go back. Love it!

This is such a great little cafe. As a meat eater I really thoroughly enjoy the vegan food in this place. This is a great place to get aquianted with vegan food and anyone who thinks a dish without meat is boring needs a gentle push through the doors of this fine establishment. I never thought I'd ever appreciate tofu until I tried their delicious tofu bbq strips. Their (not) cheese burger is also super tasty and will satiate the grumpiest of hungers. I must also declare that their vegan tortes are quite possibly the best form of desert I have ever had (especially the coffee-chocolate/mocha torte). They're open in the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays now I believe and you can bring your own wine. It's a really lovely experience having a meal here of an evening. Book a table though! The staff are always super lovely and even the customers are all really chill.

Vegan? Then get here! Amazing food, great service. It's a rare treat to get purely vegan food in a restaurant in Devon and this is one of those rare gems. They offer a vice or virtue menu, so vegan junk food or vegan super food, either way all amazing. No parking on site, so a short walk from local car alarms I'd well worth the short trip to the rabbit cafe. Family friendly and has an historic well inside too!

I even take carnivores here who love the vegan food. It all has its own great taste, rather than trying to imitate that of meat. Chunky salads, wedges of burger, and the large rich slices of raw, gluten free cake are a whole other level.

We are seasoned veggie and vegan cafe patrons .....this must surely be one of the best in Devon!! We had a the amazing 'soup, salad and cake' combo and our lad had the gorgeous 'Mac and Cheeze'....being he isn't vegan he wasn't looking forward to it...but he was truly won over !! The cakes were simply delicious... of particular note was the 'rocky road' cake, which to me was kinda like refrigerator cake.... delicious!! There was lots to choose from on the menu (almost too much !) and I would guess even if you weren't vegan you would really enjoy.....we will be back ! :)
