A real gem these days. A proper English village pub with sensible prices. Great range of beers, really good home made food and a warm genuinely friendly welcome. Large beer garden for when the sun shines, log burner in the bar for when it doesn't. Restaurant promotions every evening, booking helpful but not usually essential. (Pub closed on Mondays).

Fish'n'chips or eat out?! Thought we'd try out this pub. Glad we did. Very friendly and good service, we had starters which didn't take too long, then main course, lovely food. A varied menu for all tastes. Didn't try the desserts as we were too full. Coffee was good too. Good luck for the future. Will definitely be back with friends.

Seriously amazing food and amazing service 😍😍 couldn't get a picture of my main course because I was too eager to tuck in but knew that if I didn't get a picture of dessert then I'd have been so upset lol! The staff are all brilliant!! I really wish I lived near by so I could experience this place more often! Did want to order more than one main for myself haha but I was very good and refrained, instead, I was beaten by the amazing dessert lol! Wow! The prices are fantastic for what you get too so well worth the tip you give them at the end of meal! Cannot fault this pub! Great for kids too as has a pool table, dogs are welcome outside aswell!! A must visit! I wish I could give more than a five star rating! This is how pubs are done! 😀😀

Lovely location and a busy local pub with a good atmosphere. If I could I would have knocked off half a star because I would love to see some new food on the menu here, needs some variety. Although the fish and chips I had last week was EXCELLENT and their roasts are also very good

Traditional family pub. I have been coming here on and off for twenty years. Food is very British and large portions. We had the Sunday roast which was superb. Good to see a new covered outdoor seating area. Highly recommended

Usually quite busy, however not so busy this time down to cancellations based on covid-19. We had a table for 8 plus high chair, able to talk to everyone so took advantage of it being quieter than normal. Full menu was available and decent selection of beers 🍻 etc. Food was lovely and competitively priced. The staff spoit us tbh. They now have a couple of marquees outside probably for possible future restrictions, which the locals seem to appreciate, children and dogs 🐕 allowed in the outside areas, and probably allowed inside if they behave themselves.

Good atmosphere and kind staff. Food was well cooked but felt a bit dated. We only had the option of Sunday menu so not seen the full menu, which might be better. Would definitely go back and try the pizza shame it's not available every night.
