Went twice both 5 oclockish....first time a few friendly locals in. Staff chatty and pleasant. Had a Guiness which was spot on. Requested a portion of chicken wings off menu whilst sat in bar...no problem and were very tasty. Second night booked table as there was going to be a Jazz night and had an
Great food and service and the best toilets I have seen, clean big and free sanitary products. My granddaughter as usual ordered something she wasn't gonna like, which she didn't, the young man who served us was so lovely and understanding he offered more bread and then took it off the bill, he must
Lovely pub set in idyllic position. Parking was OK but it is a busy pub which adds to the atmosphere. Out the back of the pub is a lovely quieter and larger restaurant which is lovely. I went in the summer, and although the restaurant does need some doors replaced rather than using a cushion to fill
We didn’t actually know it was curry night, so we was disappointed as we were set on having Gammon and Steak, but it wasn’t on the menu. We had Ivy Burger, Sizzler and tikka masala and let me tell you the food was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be going again! The staff were absolutely
Staying in a holiday cottage for a week. The Ivy is our local for the week. Food is amazing, the staff are lovely and the value for money is incredible. Would suggest to book a table if you want to eat here.
Lovely meal 😋 there were 6 of us and we all enjoyed what we had . Staff are helpful and friendly we had a laugh with the waitress it was her first time taking orders hopefully we made her feel at ease .
First time was excellent, but when I came at jazz night. The music, the atmosphere thrilled me. Dat vibe!! I come back again for sure
Decided to go for evening meal, never been before, very warm and friendly welcome and warm and stylish decor. It was Curry night. Delicious...... Authentic and very good value for money. Looking forward to sampling the main menu and maybe Sunday lunch too. Thanks guys, highly recommended.
This is the second time that our six family members have had a Sunday lunch at The Ivy Inn & on both occasions the food & especially the service from the staff was excellent! A great place to meet & eat!
Wonderful food at a great price. Stake was cooked to perfect and the fish so flavoursome. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere, We can’t wait to return.
Friendly, warm, big and airy in places, cozy in others. Haven't been here for quite sometime, what a lovely surprise. Menu was varied and sensibly priced. Food was extremely well presented and was delicious, especially the desserts. I have one very slight negative that doesn't affect my rating. As a
Took my 2 children here for lunch today. All the food was lovely and they even catered for my fussy 9 year old daughter. She likes to have pizza which isn't on the menu on Sundays but they made her half a big pizza which she said was amazing. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Also very

Food ok but not a lot for your money. Looked all pre bought. Don't have the apple crumble..very weird.
We received a very warm welcome when friends and I visited here. We were seated immediately in a bright, clean and cosy restaurant. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. We visited on Curry Night and ate the most exquisite food, all cooked to perfection. I highly recommend e
Staff very helpful and friendly. The faggots were not on the Sunday menu, but the chef and staff were so helpful and cooked them for Jill and our daughter. The surroundings and ambience are first class. Prices very good.
I've only been here once, but it's a lovely village pub which has a welcoming feel. These a comfy sofa by a fire place, (which wasn't lit during my visit, but is used in the cooler months), and it's dog friendly, which I think is a massive bonus. I will definitely be making a return visit and hope t
