The Bell is a fantastic pub! The staff are all very friendly. The food is amazing! Roasts on a Sunday are yummy! Also must say the staff are wonderful to my gramp Sid that goes up there and has done for years! We will continue to visit the Bell and would always recommend it to people! Ohh I could just eat some scampi and chips (my fav)!! Keep up the fab work!!

The landlord and landlady are very nice people, I received a lovely welcome when I arrived at the pub, I would strongly recommend that everyone should visit and have a breakfast, the hash browns were the best I've ever tasted, I'm gonna make the effort to visit again, but I would like to try the real ales,.................

Fabulous Carvey, at first I didn't think there was much choice but the food was amazing. The best roast pork I've ever had and the slice of beef was the size of my plate, with homemade yorkshires and cauliflower cheese. It had everything I love in a roast, just wish I went large as my lo had a good helping of mine and would definitely recommend the brownie which my lo also helped himself too. My mum came all the way from central Bristol for lunch for her birthday and she was very impressed. Thanks for having us, we shall see you again :)

I stayed there overnight and their food and hospitality are among the best I’ve experienced in the UK. The owners really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and treat you like family. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else if I’m in their area again!

Stayed one night to celebrate my sister's wedding anniversary. Super friendly staff and the warmest welcome anyone could wish for. Over did it massively....dinner Saturday evening was simple but great quality (and quantity!). Opted for full English breakfast including the black pudding but really it could have lasted all day! More of the family joined us for Sunday lunch and I finished very uncomfortably full...all too good to resist. Great food, great company - what more could you want. Highly recommended and and an absolute certainty for a return visit.

Went to The Bell Inn for a birthday. It had been booked by a friends family. Great pub with ample choice of very good beer and cider. It also has a party venue out back which is where the party was held. A great evening was had by all and that all starts with the venue.

Lots on menu to choose from. Light bites, vegetarian, specials board etc. Generous portions. I ordered a burger that came with two sides. It was bloody delicious 😋 Good range of drinks and mixers. Had a gin I hadn't tried before and went back for more (Bombay Sapphire Sunset). Will definitely be visit again. If you're passing and want better than standard pub grub i.e local produce, make sure you pop in.

Can recommend the fish and chips and also the brie and bacon baguette. Parking avaliable at the front of the pub. Dog friendly. Staff checked if all was ok with our meal, which I liked them doing. Toilets clean. Drinks and food reasonably priced. Staff friendly.

Only a cook on duty when at a birthday get-together, no waitresses, you had go to the kitchen door and she pass it to you. All pre ordered a few days before. Food was one the best I have had.

Wow! I've never experienced such kindness from a complete stranger before. Tea drinking lady, sorry I've forgotten your name already but you made my 50th birthday so special. Lovely pub too.
