Went in for Lunchtime drink. Had 3 real ales on, 2 from McCanns a local brewery. Both local beers, a bitter and a stout very good. Nice Outdoor drinking area to front of pub. Expect it might get a bit foody in the evenings but at the time of my visit reminded me of what Country Village pubs used to be. Well worth a visit.
Fantastic food, complements to the chef. Steak cooked to how I like it and very tasty. Well worth eating and drink there. Also staff very friendly and welcoming.
I went there for lunch with my mum. Walking into the pub, the staff were really friendly, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I loved the dried hops hanging down. The food was utterly delicious. It nice to have a choice of something different. We both had Lamb Shank. We would definitely go there again.
Nice place, nice staff, nice food ,good selection of Ales & Wines and easy to park. Will be visiting again for sure.

A lovely, friendly pub serving excellent grub, a great selection of ales on tap and good wine. Would definitely recommend! Best to book if you want to eat on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday as very popular.
We're staying at Sibton Park, Lyminge. This was recommended and we loved it! A very warm welcome, stylish and comfortable pub with restaurant-style food. Wholesome, tasty and hot, generous portions and good service. A great find. We'll return next time we're here.

Popped in for a meal after work, they kindly squeezed us in the bar area, even though they were fully booked. We received an extremely warm and friendly welcome. The pub now looks lovely and cosy with open fires. A great selection of gins with the bonus of fever tree tonics. Food was lovely, offered us kids menu, but the children shared a Paella and had a small portion of fish and chips. Steak was lovely too. Really impressed and we will definitely be back.

Only had a drink, but the staff was very welcoming, and looking based on - "the reserved signs on the tables" - the food cannot be bad.

My brother and I went in for lunch today and I can say that it was the tastiest food we've had in a very long time. Well priced for the quality of food we recieved. The ladies who were working today were so lovely and welcoming. The decor is beautiful. To top it off we had a wonderful welcome from a beautiful little pooch! So glad we came across this gem. Will definitely be returning!
Very good Sunday lunch with family. Good selection on menu Several good Ales on tap and wide variety of spirits. The food was beautifully presented. On the more expensive side for a Sunday roast but surrounding and staff made up for it. Very Dog friendly all areas Recommended.
Excellent Sunday lunch, all our plates were clean. Roast lamb and roast pork was delicious. Desserts were good too. Had to go to the bar on one occasion to get drinks during the meal but would certainly back
Lovely country pub serving great food & drink. Staff friendly & attentive, they even kept my chips hot while I went to get my wife from Lyminge (she summoned me half way through my lunch). All the food was or looked delicious, menu offers plenty of alternatives to the usual pub food. Food availability varies by time/day so suggest you call ahead to check. I got lucky just turned up.
A great pub roast. We had walked our dog in the forest near by and booked here for a su day lunch. We wasn't disappointed. Lovely lamb for me, beef for my wife. Deserts fantastic and the atmosphere and behaviour of thr staff was exemplary. Will be visiting again.
