Great neighborhood pub. We felt very welcome on our two visits in one day. Loved visiting with people and pets there. Young waitstaff were nice and gave great service. Fish, chips, and fries were very good. There is a lovely little lake across from it that has ducks and swans.
We booked a table at the Prince of Wales pub knowing that we would be hungry and wanting to relax, after a long morning and early afternoon at Claremont, National Trust.
Five adults, two teenagers, two children and a dog. We all piled into the pub earlier than I table was booked. We were invited to
A very enjoyable meal.
It’s been a while since visiting since moving further away however we were not disappointed by returning.
The menu offered good options, especially for the vegan and vegetarians in the group. The staff were helpful and friendly. The food did take a while to come out in all h
Very cosy pub, friendly staff and the Korean Pork Belly and Chocolate Brownie were delicious! And very dog-friendly too
Very nice food and the ambience is superb. Only problem is we ordered from the paper menu, only to realise 10 minutes later that there is a Chef's Special on the wall, with even more goodies like belly pork and sea food grill etc. Oh well, guess we'd have to come back for those next time. There is a
This was a lovely treat, l was brought here by a friend, so this was my first visit.
From the moment we arrived until we left the staff were fantastic, amazing covid procedures in place.
Great service, good food, fab drinks and a beautiful atmosphere. There is also parking available.
What a wonde
Just passing today but we tried our luck for lunch, it was very busy but luckily we got a table. Had a huge Sunday lunch which was very reasonably priced, it's a lovely pub and surroundings. Our server Todd was great & couldn't do enough for us. Another pub we'll definitely be coming back to.
Great place to eat, lovely food and lots of choice. Despite being short staffed the service was still good. Special mention to Lex who went above and beyond to make our visit an enjoyable one.
Good menu. Had gammon steak with pineapple, free range egg, mashed potatoes and baked beans. The gammon was nicely charred by the ridges of the griddle as was the pineapple. My companion gave a thumbs up for the sea bass and scallops. Pleasant atmosphere.
Really good food. Friendly efficient staff. Used to use this place as a restaurant with friends regularly years ago. Not the same but improved from our last visit
