Delicious and well cooked food. Welcoming and friendly hosts. A real gem. I had a sublime Mongolian beef with noodles and my wife’s vegetable curry was very tasty. Would have dived in to the puds but too full.

Great pub with rooms. Hosts Steve and Donna couldn't do enough for us. Fabulous Sunday lunch which was very welcome after a long day's walking. Friendly locals in the bar made us welcome too, highly recommend.

.Great food and such lovely friendly staff. Walked our little dog at Alby Gardens next door then popped in for dinner. They gave us and the dog a very warm welcome! The food is all homemade too. The steak pie was really good and hubby said the lasagne was delicious. Log fire was nice; all in all a fab pub!

We stopped here for a lovely meal. There's ample parking in the layby opposite which gives lovely views out across the field. On entering the establishment we were greeted with a lovely warm smile and welcome from the land lady who came out from behind the bar to greet us and our dogs. The landlord made a point of saying hello and welcoming us whilst pulling pints for other customers. We enjoyed a few drinks and a lovely fresh home cooked meal. I would highly recommend the Belgium waffles 😋 I was torn between a chicken burger (was very nice and cooked perfectly with a warm bun) and the hunters chicken (which looked amazing). We felt very spoilt with table service ordering and loved the idea of taking 2 pints away with you (perfect for hubbie who was driving). I would highly recommend this pub, fantastic food, lovely people, great atmosphere and an all round great afternoon/evening. Thank you for having us 😊

Dinner with friends. Delicious home cooked food, very good menu, friendly and helpful staff and all in all, we thought good value. Old fashioned pub, in a good way, situated on the main road to cromer.

A hidden gem! We needed a venue for a wake after Cromer Crematorium. Spoke to Donna, who was so kind & thoughtful. They did an incredible spread of sandwiches, incredible home made scones, cakes, tea and coffees. The venue had plenty of parking, the team in the bar on the day couldn't have been more charming. Oh, and the Pub Dog 🐕 was an added bonus! Cannot recommend this place enough, and we'll definitely come back when we're next in the area for a meal. Thank you so much Donna and the team for making such a tough day run so smoothly.
