Had a nice evening and meal here. It's very pretty outside on the terrace area overlooking the River Dee with the roses and the solar lights. Lots of bird song, including an owl, as it got dark. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The toilets were clean. The food was nice, especially the yummy

I arrived solo without booking a table. It wasn't busy so the staff were happy to seat me. The food was excellent. A beautiful spot for summer drinks at the side of the Dee!
Beautiful location, lovely staff and amazing food. I came here with my husband and two children and we will definitely be back again!! Thankyou to the Martin brothers for providing us with such high quality hospitality.
Me and my girlfriend had dinner here, I had the smokey burger and she had half a rack of ribs, The food was lovely we both really enjoyed it. The staff are really friendly and made sure we had drinks and everything we needed. Friendly atmosphere and a lovely picturesque river running alongside it.

Lovely location, friendly and welcoming inside, good ambience and attentive service. The food, pork belly with mash, superb.
We had taken a touring caravan to Rosedale Caravan Park for a friend and decided on our way back home to stop at the Cross Foxes for lunch. We had our 2 dogs with us so no rush to go home. The weather was very hot so we sat at a picnic table on the grassed terrace in the gardens with our 2 ESS, alth
Great food in a lovely setting. The delicious steak and Ale pie was the perfect size. Not too massive! Friendly staff and dog friendly 👌🏻

Just re-opened and better than ever. Three young and very talented chefs are now the licencees and the food is.... fabulous. Well worth a visit.
Perfect setting on a warm sunny lunchtime, plenty of outside seating first class service and lovely freshly prepared sandwiches accompanied with chilled Asahi lager.
Never given 5 stars before. Great venue great location. The best piece of Pork I have ever had at any restaurant/pub and I have been around a bit. Well priced too. Staff excellent. Lemon tart pudding also very good. Will be back. Well done to the boss for running a fantastic pub restaurant.
First time at this pub as we are new to the area. The food was excellent and our waitress Grace was first rate catering for all our requirements . The view from the restaurant is spectacular! Really worth a visit. Dogs are welcome here, they even have a barrel of “Poors Water” especially for them.
What a beautiful pub/restaurant. Very welcoming. We sat by the open fire, which was so lovely & really cosy. Will definitely visit again.
