Fantastic atmospheres-bring your own wine!. This place is a hidden gem, I was introduced to it by a friend and have been going there ever since. Its now called New Gallant and run by a lovely family who's food is superb. This place is like bringing Chinatown into Epsom. Its got its own charm especially from Thursday onwards the place is packed- make sure you book! Chinese food at a great price! I agree, don't be put off by the decor, Its cheap and cheerful. They don't advertise this, but their the only chinese in Epsom that allow you to bring your own wine which is such a bonus. Happy drinking!
Don't be put off by appearances... The places is not the most beautiful but the food is great and cheap... Bring your bottle of wine Cos they don't sell alcolholics ... No license

When I visted with two friends on a Thursday evening at 19:30 it was empty at first although a family did also enter later, so it was quite quiet.
Parking is free in the evening at least, just outside.
Going back to the food, it was very good, I'd recommend the spicy lamb and the fruity sweet & sour chicken.
Will be returning.
The staff are extremely attentive and they always take a genuine interest in their customers. We have brought friends here for several years now. The food has always been exceptional and the service is to the same level. The buffet deal is extremely good value and the house wines are very palatable. It's a very cosy intimate restaurant, great atmosphere.
10/10 on an objective scale and the har gao was delicious. the char siu was zesty and jun finished it off with chilli sauce . PERFECT FOOD HE WALKS AMONG US

A few weeks ago, we decided to try this restaurant as an alternative to our regular Chinese spot, and it exceeded our expectations. I opted for the kung po chicken, which was incredibly flavoursome and delicious. The service was prompt, attentive, and respectful, adding to our overall positive experience.
Since then, we have become regular patrons, revisiting the restaurant multiple times. Our favourites include the kung po chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and chicken in black bean sauce. Additionally, we found the wontons to be delectable, especially when paired with the sweet chilli sauce.

Food was delicious and more authentic than most English based Chinese restaurants. The price was not cheap but fair.
We had a takeaway so can't comment on atmosphere, but it looked fun.
Lovely family friendly restaurant. We've been a few times now and the food has been fantastic every time. True little gem of the Stoneleigh Broadway.

I took my wife for our Anniversary dinner last night and I was so impressed!! The quality of food is great and tasted amazing! We opted for the evening buffet and the portion sizes was perfect for us try a lot of dishes! Great food great service! Definitely recommend!!
We just went to the Imperial Oriental for dinner. We really enjoyed the food but were dissapointed that there was no dine in. It would be great if they could take this off there google description. We wouldn't have gone there if we had of known.

Very fresh ingredients. Great find. Good Chinese takeaway hard to find these days. You can tell that the oil they have cooked the special fried rice with is clean oil and as such is very light on the food. The taste is in the ingredients. Definitley recommend
Food was very good. Portions were generous. Delivery time was as advised. Loved Peking duck. I only ordered a 1/4 but enough for 2 as a starter. We'll be back 😈
