Great food with a large menu that caters for everyone, lovely atmosphere with friendly staff so will defiantly be coming back.

Went here for a Christmas meal. Food was excellent, the staff were kind and gave us just the right amount of attention.
An excellent selection of beers were available, many session ales and IPAs. Clean modern and bright.
After being ruined by previous owners, the pub has been restored and evolved to a great venue, with a child/dog friendly garden and tasty food. Welcoming staff cap off a great experience here.
Continuously surprised by the variety and quality of the beer and cider. Different to other local pubs, and quite knowledgeable staff. The garden is wonderful. Not yet been in the evening but the fairy lights suggest it could be amazing. Welcoming to families and dogs, worth a look.
This is by far the best pub in Epsom. Beer selection is great & always rotates. The staff are super nice & the food is excellent. Lovely garden that gets the sun all day too!

Parking is a pain, but other than that it is an awesome place to spend a sunny afternoon with friends/family!

Lovely pub great food and beer
My Wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in the Rising Sun's function room. It was a short notice booking as result of the previous venue letting us down. In short Nathaniel and his staff made sure everything went well and nothing was too much trouble. The BBQ buffet was delicious and a great level of service was delivered to our guests. Thank you Rising Sun.
Spent a month in Epsom, and this was our local. Beautiful beer garden, lovely staff, vegan and veggie friendly. Perfect place to relax with a pint and the family.
Great food, great drinks, and they even have dog treats for the furry pooches you bring along. 10/10 loved this pub

Couldn't have ask for a better day
I couldn’t fault our visit here last night. The pub is cosy and had a nice friendly, busy feel. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived and I thought the two staff we met were both helpful and kind. We felt well looked after. I really enjoyed the classic burger - beautifully cooked and served with some very tasty fries - and my son and daughter enjoyed their ribs and halloumi burger. The ribs had a fabulous glaze and the meat just fell off the bone! I think the only thing I’d add would be to automatically serve a finger bowl of water with those ribs - but that’s very fussy and maybe because I watched my son eating them whilst wearing a white shirt 😁
Would highly recommend and will definitely be wanting to visit again.
Lovely pub, really enjoyed our afternoon again and our dogs were given a bowl of water too. We realise we were one of the last for Sunday carvery - it was ok but we thought the price was disappointing for the food we were given.
I hired the function room for an event this past weekend and Max and the staff were amazing! Quick to respond to questions, very accomodating, fab food. Thanks a ton for making it a great night!!!

the pub garden is absolutely beautiful. Chef Eva is very attentive and her burger is the best I've had in London. And then there's Ruby, the most beautiful little dog I've ever met. I loved it and will definitely go back.
Great to see a new lease of life brought to this pub! Went in on opening night, loads of great beers and staff seemed really nice and friendly. Not tried the food yet but looked and smelled pretty good!
Sunday lunch was absolutely fantastic. Roast lamb was perfect, as was the fish and chips my son had. Highly recommended
