The old moat garden centre is one of my very favourite places. You have a garden part, the shop and the café Everyone is amazingly friendly, dogs are allowed and I can't recommend this place enough for it is also a great charity which supports mental health Love it

We come to The Old Moat about 2-3 times a week & we love it! The staff are always so friendly & welcoming and the food in the cafe is lovely. The added bonus is that they are 'dog friendly'....our 3 hounds starting whining as soon as we drive in as they know they always get a treat and a warm reception. It has such community feel there and I would highly recommend it to anyone

I love going to The Moat . It has a personal touch & the staff are really friendly . The food is very good & the coffee too !! The cakes are delicious !! My grandchildren love to cycle there across the common . I do take my dog occasionally as dogs are welcome but being a rather large German Shepherd we choose to sit in the outside covered area where there is plenty of room . We are already planning our next visit as we love the wonderful selection of plants etc , and the shop has an excellent selection of gifts for all occasions.

Lovely little place for a walk round and some food. The work they have carried out recently is brilliant! Great food in the cafe and reasonably priced plants and other items. Hope the cafe expands but not too much as to lose its country charm.

Really grateful. I bought a tub with plants in and on the way home it fell in the car and the entire contents fell across the boot I went back and they very kindly scraped the earth up for me re planted the plants and put in a few more and wouldn’t let me pay any extra. I am so grateful, it was a birthday present for a friend! Thank you so much x

Lovely little garden centre for a great cause. A 5* coronation chicken sandwich which was very fresh. I will return soon for a home made piece of cake.

Often pop in here on family bike rides around Epsom common and Horton country park. Makes a great pit stop for refueling with hot chocolate and cake. Staff are very friendly and food is super.

I often come to The old Moat Garden Centre. It has such lovely things to buy in the shop and the garden plants are priced very well! There's also a cafe which serves good food. Definitely worth a visit!

Great for a cuppa and a slice of cake, or even something more substantial. Good to see some of the local cycling community visiting the cafe.

This is a cool place and elegantly furnished. The meals are tasty and well prepared under very high hygienic condition. The meals are well selected to cater for the elderly. It comprises of well balanced meals and assorted sides. The dining area is well lit and comfortable. the accessibility is well adapted to cater for all disabilities. There is room for everyone in the Cafe. You will have the opportunity to view different natural scenes. The staff will ensure you have all that will make you comfortable. You should come dine. There is enough space for cars to park

Nice little garden centre, loads of bedding plants and all the accessories you might need. Great cafe, all food fresh and prepared on request. Most importantly they put profits back into local projects. Brilliant work guys.

My husband and I visited on Friday afternoon. Pretty quiet and relaxed place. They have a Cafe as well, didn’t try. But I wanted to try next time :) Price of herbs and plants was good. And most of plant looks healthy!!!! 🤗 bit small garden space but they have all item what you needs. Big size of parking space 😬😬

A lovely garden centre that runs as a charitable organisation who put all their profits back into a wellbeing service they provide. A good range of plants and a nice friendly coffee shop. The walled garden is worth walking around to view what is growing.

An under rated place to stop for coffee and cake then buy a few plants for the garden. Lunch or breakfast options are good. Always glad to support their work rather than a big commercial outlet. The recent refurbishment adds a lot. The new walled garden is a great place to sit for a coffee with space for the kids to run around. Good options for gluten free and vegan. Dog friendly. Recommended.

We had an hour to kill on Sunday, sadly we weren’t dressed for a muddy walk so took a look around this garden centre which I have to say was in fact, time well spent! Lots of nice little bits and pieces for the home and garden, gifts, pottery, furniture etc Ample car parking on site, there is also a walled garden which we didn’t visit.

Great local garden centre and small cafe. Make sure you stop by to support this smaller businesses rather than the big commercial centres near by. Friendly staff and volunteers. Lovely tea & cake. Lots of free parking too.

The Old Moat Garden Center is very lovely and quiet. They do freshly baked cakes and baked good at the cafe. Outside seats are available and private and not much if any road noise can be heard. The garden centre itself is not too large and offers everything you need.

This is a lovely garden centre to visit as everything is easily accessible. The staff and volunteers are very helpful and dedicated, everything you buy supports the fellowship which is a brilliant cause. I am extremely thankful for there allowing dogs in policy during the pandemic. 5*
