The service was amazing. Our waiter was absolutely brilliant and very attentive . We did have problem with food but he dealt with it very quickly and we had a very nice meal and best service I have got in a long time. Highly recommend this restaurant, the service is brilliant and food tasty and reasonably priced. The included unlimited salad and bread rolls adds to the value. Great friendly place for all ages.

Staff were lovely service was good, food was delicious and hot. Reasonably priced. The downside was no sweetcorn at the salad bar and during our visit there was young children running about the whole length of restaurant and bar, I think the manager could of asked the parents to keep them close by. Their screaming was a bit annoying and a couple of times they fell over, it wasn’t our parties responsibility to keep an eye on them. Apart from that everything else good and we were impressed.

All what you would expect from a Harvester in addition the atmosphere was like a scene from coronation Street (a family drama taking place on the next tables! ) Which is fine if your a fan of dramas! I'm sure it's not like that usually though. 😂 Staff Friendly and courteous with prompt service

5 adults went here for Christmas dinner and the meals were just what we wanted & expected. We couldn't fault the 1st, 2nd or 3rd courses in any way. The service personnel were attentive but not intrusive. We appreciated them looking after us on a holiday.

An eat all you can buffet salad table was very varied and had fresh food. The hamburger and chips were OK but nothing special. The waffle sundae was a big portion but the waffle tasted dry and from a packet. Our waitress was rushed off her feet and yet still managed to share a personal moment with each guest.

Went do to discount voucher, the staff were very friendly and worked hard but looked little understaff. We sat outside for a drink in the sun and the sitting area is half dug with work going on but what the staff could have done was clear a finish meal which was attracting several wasps. We went for dinner and offered a table which is to the left of the entrance and I believe too small for the number of tables there but they offered alternative which was just fine. Our table was prepared for us as per the large table behind us but the floor there was littered with food from the last customer. Also after we finished eating, they only half cleared our table leaving us with used plates while we finished our drinks. All the food was good quality and the drinks are good value so the bill was just over £20 a head, which was excellent value. I am sure we just gone a busy early evening with low staff. Looking for a better environment next time.

The staff here are so lovely!!! After moving here and experiencing racism in similar restaurants, never felt out of place here. I get the chicken and salad for a healthy meal as it’s something I can get fresh in the area and get some veggies in. Exceptional service, every SINGLE time. Thank you

Just had a lovely meal with the kids 11 & 8 & my husband, the service was just at the pace we needed for today. Our waitress was Chloe & the manager Tye, which they both friendly polite. We will definitely recommend & will be back.

Chose The Talbot as the location for our son’s 18th Birthday party - already these guys were on to a winner as we had been turned down by other places who would not accept our large table booking on a half term weekend. The Talbot were happy for us to book even though it was a Sunday lunchtime, and then followed that up by being absolutely brilliant on the day. Could not really have asked for better - we were a party of 13 with kids, fussy eaters, vegans, disabled - you name it, they bent over backwards to cater for it with no problems whatsoever. Our server Ryan was helpful and attentive even though he had two large bookings on separate dining floors to look after, our orders were taken correctly, brought quickly and the food was lovely. The vegans in the party were very happy with the amount of options they had to pick from and any changes we wanted to make to dishes they were happy to do. Ryan was happy to help with anything we needed. Not a single complaint from any of the party about any aspect of the meal. Not normally where we would go for our family get togethers but thanks to Pizza Hut not wanting us we’ve experienced great service and we will be back!

Visited during the heatwave and the temperature inside was just right (pleasantly cool without a draft - glad we didn't sit outside). Waiter was great, service was fast, food was good. The free salad bar is a nice touch.

A little disappointing. Very short-staffed for a Saturday. On arrival my disabled friend was left with us standing wsiting to be booked in for at least 7 minutes until my friend told the waitress she needed to sit down. Also, 2 meal choices we had to change - nscho bean burger as none in stock and my friend's fishcakes fell apart and waitress told her and adked her to choose something else.
