This is THE best fish and chips we have ever had. I never write reviews but Peggotty's is just the best out of everywhere, ever! We have been back at least six times since this was first written. I stand by the original report below. Excellent fish and chips. Large portions. Realised they also make Southern Fried Chicken pieces so may try that out as well. First rate shop and food.

Undeniably the best fish and chip shop in Epping. Best prices, freshly fried and large servings! Staff are always friendly to customers.
This is my go - to fish and chip shop. Fresh fish not cooked to order (so no long wait) but big turnover so not been done long.
Portions large so 1 helping of chips between 2 unless you're a VERY big eater.
No card machine so cash only.
