This is by far my favourite restaurant. The food is always full of flavour, I absolutely love the venison and the home made gravy! The hospitality and service here is second to none, Will is a fantastic chef and host. I highly recommend a visit for anyone wanting good quality food and service; count
Best dinner I've had in quite a while. We booked a table to celebrate my parent's wedding anniversary and were hoping for something special, The Cart Shed did not disappoint. Really nice grounds, very intimate setting, food was very good and the staff were more than friendly. Only criticism is timing, we had to wait an hour between each course. More for an older crowds taste due to the whole vibe of the restaurant. I still had a nice time and would probably go back again
Loved it. Huuuge meat. Recommend 1 tomahawk for 2 people as it comes with chips. Italian malbec was gorgeous and astonishingly cheap, I thought the price was for a glass! Service charmingly slightly chaotic but friendly, smiley and always pleasant. Definitely coming back
This is an utter gastronomic gem tucked away down a residential road. The food is superior to many of the top draw London restaurants. Watching the chef creating these wonderful meals in close proximity with a glass of wine in his hand is a joy.

Really friendly owners, great food - I'm vegetarian and the chef made me a delicious meal which perfectly suited my requirements and my meat eating friends said theirs was amazing. Would definitely recommend and would go back.

We were slightly confused when we got to the restaurant because it doesn't look like a typical restaurant. It is in a residential area and on the grounds of a farm. However the food was to die for, from the starter all the way to the dessert (puddle pudding). It's not cheap but it is fairly priced.
We were made very welcome and well looked after. A very enjoyable evening out. Thank you to William and his staff especially his Mum who took the time to talk to my sisters and I about the area when we were children. 🤗

Unique, intimate, and authentic alternative to a traditional country pub meal. The sauces, beautifully cooked garnishes, delicate scallops, and homey atmosphere were also highlights for me!
