I have been eating in the Raj for, I guess, 25 years and it never disappoints. The staff are helpful, friendly and fun, always making time for a chat or a bit of banter or giving advice about menu choices. The menu variety is huge and the vegetarian selection is second to none with many special dishes on offer rather than simply vegetarian versions of standard menu items. The food is always excellent and portion sizes are good. The restaurant is quite small so at times, when it is very busy, service can be a bit slow but the food is worth the wait and is always good value for money. Thank you Abdul and staff for making this my relaxing, ‘go to’ restaurant of choice.

I always order my Indian takeaways from this place but I had the pleasure of eating in recently. It was up to its usual standard and the service provided by the guys in there was great.
I don’t normally go to the effort of writing reviews but felt I had make an exception on this occasion, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left we were treated with nothing but kindness and the utmost professionalism.
The restaurant does get very busy and the phone was constantly ringing with takeaway orders however the staff at raj were so attentive and considerate it did not have any impact on the service we received.
The food was amazing and just melts in your mouth especially the prawn zinga is just delicious.

Have had one takeaway with was not quite to there normal high standards.
The onion barges was half there normal size and fell apart when trying to pick UK.
But always a great mix of flavour in the curry’s.
Amazing dinner tonight, cooked exactly to our liking and generous portions. Superb flavours and nice to see some different dishes to choose from. Very happy repeat customer.

I accidentally discover this place way to Heathrow airport from thetford. Good food and excellent service. Sunday all you can buffet for family is a greater value for money. Staff is well familiar with food and flavours. It a tight place... Very good food. Parking is an issue around the restaurant.
Been coming here with my family since 1995 😩 and its still so so yummy. Just one thing the bhuna is dry sauce so you should fill the container. Mine in be was less than half full of sauce and more coriander in everything !! Lol
