Stopped off here after walking the dog, as it's a dog friendly pub. The welcome was amazing, especially for our dog, who was given a bowl of water and some biscuits. The service was really polite and when the food arrived it really surprised me. I had lamb shank and the wife had a fish pie and both were amazing. The service was really polite and efficient, all at a reasonable cost. Definately well worth another visit.
Good food, good location (especially for those who enjoy cycling) , friendly staff and patrons... Give it a go.
Lovely pub. I am a bit biased as it is our local! However, that aside it is a great place to relax, eat and of course have a drink. Dave and Nicki are great hosts as were David & Helen who were the previous landlords. Quiz night every fortnight.
Visited yesterday to meet up with family and thoroughly enjoyed our time there.
I initially emailed, just to check whether we needed to book or not, and received a prompt response saying that a table would be reserved for us.
We had a great time there, with lovely food, with a great selection to choose from, and the service was prompt, friendly and we felt that they couldn't do enough for us.

Great food and great service. Perfect family and couples dinning. Best chips and homemade chicken pie. friendly staff and great atmosphere. Recommend a meal or just a drink. All welcome.
The food was fantastic,but the poor waitress Julie,she had to handle a 50th and 18th Birthday celebration on her own,plus the restaurant,and bar was very busy,what is wrong with landlords/owners that they leave staff to deal with all of this on their own,it is unprofessional,she did have some help from another young member of staff.
Julie and the other waitress did the best they could,but we did have a long wait for our main course,the pub needs to employ more staff,be better organized,and get their Sunday Dinners sorted,again lack of staff.
Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and very tasty food. Would recommend.
Friendly pub, great atmosphere, excellent staff, really good food locally sourced produce, not from national food wholesale suppliers like most pubs. Sunday roasts great! Gets really busy which says it all!

One word stunning food was absolutely stunning staff was brilliant lovley little pub well worth a visit superb pub very dog friendly made us feel very welcome brittiantly priced. defently will be returning beautiful well done guys
