Perfect for an early morning or afternoon walk. Grounds are beautifully kept. The farm shop is a little gem. Prices in the little cafe are slightly too much for what you get. My opinion though. All in all it is a fantastic place.
I’m not sure why there’s so many negative reviews. The lady who served us was nice and I enjoyed my coffee and biscuits and my friend enjoyed his cake. :)
The gardens and house are great to look around on a dry day. Went for a craft event . The staff just made what should be a straight forward day looking at the exhibitors very haphazard.
All seasons have their beauty bit Spring is snell and colour. The walled garden showcases both of these. A real joy.
I would like to say how welcome and pleased I was with the Forty Hall Café. We held a celebration of my Mums life here and the staff could not be more accommodating.
The selection of sandwiches and cakes were excellent.
