Lovely, period pub, big car park (need to register your xar registration at the bar to avoid a PCN), great staff & yummy food.
This pub is old with lots of character. If you are 6 foot tall, remember to duck as you go through doorways.
Suitable for a small family get together/meal or a bigger even
Very lovely old historic pub with loads of character. Nice and cosy with the low ceilings and open fire, complete with the very well loved local dog (who clearly runs the place). Mum, dad and daughter staff were all very friendly and accommodating, and the food was also very good and wholesome. The
This place has so much potential. We have been coming for years and have been happy. We came back first time since summer 2020 ( due to Covid closures, not by choice).

Great country pub with friendly, warm and welcoming staff.
Dog friendly, which is a big plus for those on country walks.
Good menu selection.
Prices reasonable
Interesting fact, Guy Falwkes drank there!
Amazing little gem in London, this country pub is packed to the rafters with history and folk law, Guy Fawkes almost certainly came in here and the gatehouse to the pub itself is one of North London's oldest.
The pub has friendly locals, a warm cosy atmosphere and a very lovable little dog as well
Nice traditional pub with a nice oldside space. Food was ok. Veg was over boiled very salty. For my likes.
