Ok I'm a little biased.
I've been frequenting for around 4 years now.
I don't have a negative feedback to say about the coffee shop. The coffee is good, the ambience is great, there's a little community of regulars here so can be great for meeting new people especially creatives and digital nomads.
Tranquil coffee shop in the midst of bustling Southgate. Never especially busy which is a bonus if you are looking for a coffee and chill out. A community focussed business which displays work from local artists and also has a book swapping service so bring along your well-thumbed Shades of Grey and
Wonderful cafe. A cosy place with a warm cheerful atmosphere.
Perfect place to have breakfast and lunch. They have a good range, from sandwiches to toasties, bacon roll, ham & cheese croissant.
Muffins and cakes are tempting.
The gingerbread men brings out the kid in you.
The decor feels like an a
Sad to see it go. One of the more tranquil coffee shops with good coffee. I'm sure another burger king or sit down kebab shop is on the way....
Warm and serene, an extremely pleasant atmosphere, and a refreshing stop for a well-brewed coffee and some time off work.
Visited on a Sunday morning.
Harris and hoole is permanently closed, fortunately a Caffe Nero is replacing the Harris and hoole (I will make a review of the new Caffe Nero when it opens)
Caffe Nero has just opened in southgate today, the new Caffe Nero is really good
One of the best coffee houses I’ve been to in a very long time, Southgate has a lot of coffee shops but not an atmosphere like this one, children friendly and the vibe is lovely and calming.
They really do treat you like a friend instead of a paying customer, will always return as they also make the
helpful, friendly staff, great coffee - retro vibe
The coffee is excellent in here - it takes its time coming, but it's well worth the wait. The food, while pricey, is very tasty; and the staff are very friendly. As a store, it feels proud to be a part of the local community, too. The music's also not too bad - the radio oscillates between The Hits,
Love the coffee at this place. The Baristas here really know how to pour the perfect cup! An excellent place to just chill or get some work done while having great coffee. A welcome sight as you come out of Southgate station means you can either grab a cup on your way out or on the way back.
Not bad tea. I will admit that their coffee is watery, however we only go there for tea and snack. Winter has an Oat Turmeric Chai Latte. Really tasty. Goes well with a light cake. They do have a uni sex bathroom that is also a disabled toilet. Common for students to study here on the weekend
Nice quiet coffee shop. Kind staff member, really chilled atmosphere.
Nicest café in Southgate. Staff is really caring if customers. They do different activities along the week (children play group, English classes and others). I know the shop manager from old Harris + Hoole in Kings Cross area, and her and their batistas are by far the nicest I met in London
And it had quiet corners so you could talk. Recommend.
