North London represent. Despite the EN postcode I will call Enfield North London. Less than ten miles away it should be easy to see friends, however London traffic likes to play games with what should be normal. By the time i arrived at my friends place, we were out the door to go to have Italian food at Nelitos.
Nelitos Enfield. Beautifully presented restaurant, very traditional italian cuisine, family orientated and i always feel so relaxed with my children and guests. The staff is very attentive especially the daughter of the owner, she is fantastic with our children, which is always appreciated. I think people will agree that its hard to find a restaurant that you feel like you are being treated in the best possible way without paying ridiculous prices. The restaurant looks expensive but its very reasonable and the most important thing is the food is so tasty and fresh. My kids love the Homemade Spagetti Bolognese!!!! oh yes and the jelly beans at the end.

HHighly Recommended Nelitos, Enfield.......... I was recommended this restaurant by my daughters mother-in-law and have been there on several ocassions. It so rare to find a restaurant where u feel that u are being paid attension to, where the quality of the food is to an exceptional standard and at a reasonable price. I have taken my children there during the week and on a sunday and they love it.The childrens menu for freshly cooked food(£4.25). Most of the time we have A La Carte but the set menu is always an option and very good.
A recommend listening out for the specials.....Spagetti Lobster & Monkfish is beautifully cooked, my husband loves the fillet steaks, mussels and only eats them here for some reason. It is owned by a wonderful family, and u always feel so welcome, the staff attentive yet not over bearing.
This year I had my xmas work party at Nelitos and everyone complimented on the venue choice.........and they loved the disco in the end.
The perfect place to go even to satisfy the most demanding gourmet without taking out a mortage. (always busy and rightly so!!)
Authentic and superb. A group of four of us went on Easter Sunday and found the food delicious and the atmosphere brilliant. It was busy but the staff were very helpful and friendly . The service was particularly excellent from our waiters jack and amanda, they were very customer service focused and you could hear them getting praise from other tables. The food was exceptional, cooked to perfection. For the quality of food and service the price is amazing we will definetely be going back very soon.
Highly Recommended. I decided to choose nelitos for Mothers Day because it was recommended to me by one of friends.My mother is very elderly and rarely goes out so this was a real treat for her. As soon as we arrived the daughter of the owner came and helped assist with my mother and she was very courteous as well as other the waiters. The restaurant was absolutely packed and i was so surprised by the level of service the waiters even had time to make us laugh which made us feel very welcome. The set menu had a wide choice of starters and main courses. The food was cooked to perfection my mother is a fussy eater but she ate everything including dessert. My whole family was so impressed and have gone back twice this week. Ideal venue for family gatherings. Highly recommended. Exceptional Food and Quality (and not expensive) and People are lovely especially the daughter.
Xmas Party 2009! Success. This year i was designated to sort out the xmas party.(stressful) because there is always one or two who are fussy and complain about something. This year i decided to choose Nelitos, Enfield. I was a bit nervous because i had never been there before but a friend recommended it to me. The food was perfect in terms of organisation and taste. The restaurant was packed and there was always a waiter making sure we had everything we needed.The service was impressive. The owner of the restaurant dressed up as santa,giving out xmas crackers,and getting everyone to sing along with xmas music.When we finished our meal the disco lights were on and everyone was up dancing to abba 'dancing queen.' Alot of fun.For once nobody complained about the xmas party instead everyone complimented me on the choice. Very Happy!
A Must Go.... Nelitos,Enfield is a wonderful restaurant run by lovely people especially the daughter.The range of food runs from exquisite fish to T-bone steaks and freshly cooked pasta.The set menus are reasonably priced and there is ample choice.The restaurant is tastly decorated and and it is always busy. Rightly so.
The Gables previously known as the 'Nelitos The Gables' Cuffley is no longer owned by Nelitos,Enfield for several years. I went there a year ago and it was terrible.Nelitos,Enfield have a another restaurant in the Algarve and the food is wonderful as well as the country.
Very nice italian restaurant! Nice portugese wine recommanded by the staff! Amazingly delicious mushroom risotto I've ever had! Would definitely go back!
Great menu choice of Italian, Portuguese and some Sunday roast type items, so something for everyone. Food was tasty and plentiful. Staff friendly and welcoming. Only criticism was having to pay for olives and bread which were not asked for and the cost not explained before or after their arrival. We should have been able to refuse them. However, I would happily return and would definitely recommend this restaurant.
I've been coming here now at least every 2 weeks for the past 2 years. The food is great, the place is spacious, and the staff are friendly. Prices are also very affordable. Now and again they have live bands too (an Elvis impersonator was in a few weeks ago!)
Last December I booked my Nelito's for my Christmas work party - everyone had a blast, food was plentiful, and the music was great.

Gorgeous food!highly recommended. Delicious house white wine must try! Really nice owners. We got there early 6.30pm and only two things I would suggest is they should of put the music on straight away and put the lights down rather than having it full on. Overall fabolous will be going back :-)
This place is an absolute gem. The food is fresh and tastes great, the service is first class and they are really friendly staff making you feel at home. The bonus is that the prices are far more reasonable than I would have expected for this level of service & quality.
First time we have visited. Did was fantastic and service matched. We are new to the area but would definitely visit again. Portuguese Peri-Peri chixken was lovely and desert (although smaller than anticipated) was the right amount after a filling main. Staff very attentive and offered their recommendations and didn't fail to impress. Thanks and see you soon.
This is a superb Italian restaurant. I very much enjoyed the atmosphere, the owner is very friendly accommodating and has a bit of a sense of humour. It is conveniently located on the high street and less than 20m away is pay and display parking.
Came here for my birthday with the family and the food was amazing they treated me well. Reading one or two negative comments and I never got that experience here. Lovely food lovely wine and the manager Joao treated me and my family well.
We went to Nelitos to celebrate Father's Day with my dad and my husband and it was a lovely experience ☺️
The food was lovely and the staff were nice, I wouldn't say we received fantastic service to warrant a 5-star review but it was good enough. I'm happy both men were satisfied hence 4-star👌🏽

Excellent resturant with wide choice of menu.
We visited with a local friend who highly recommended this restaurant having visited a couple of times before. Not only was there an extensive menu but an exciting set of specials. We ate entirely away from the main menu as the specials were so tantalising. The duck was just slightly pink as it should be in a delightful cherry sauce and the cod baked in a rich creamy cheese sauce was full of flavour, with excellent lobster soup and fresh figs and parma ham to start and chef's own tiramisu and their own custard "made in heaven" dessert to finish. The head waiter was charming and witty throughout entertaining us with a selection of specially chosen wines. We picked an inexpensive but interesting white Portuguese Douro. A word of warning this is not a fast food MacDonald's, you need to go down the road for that but nevertheless service was efficient attentive and prompt. So if it's a well prepared dining experience at a reasonable price (and ours was £100 including wine and drinks and that was extremely good for 3 people and the quality of the food) then Nelitos is the place for you. The people of Enfield are lucky to have this little gem.
Visited Saturday 19th October and was very happy with all we had,party of 4 and and all enjoyed their meal,not over expensive but first class food and service,booked for Christmas and hope to go before that also,well done to the staff and keep the standard up as you have got it right.
I have been to Nelito's a few times and the food and service are always good. The dishes are tasty. However, the menu is very old fashioned and could benefit from some innovations.
Such a shame this lovely restaurant has now closed down :-(
