Lovely pub, on a quiet corner surrounded by Crews Hill nurseries. It's also child friendly with enough space to run around. The fish and chips is lovely. Batter is crunchy but not too crispy. Staff friendly and attentive.

Had the most amazing festive meal yesterday. The food was superb and plenty of it. The staff were very attentive, friendly and treated us so well. Our favourite pub and our best ever meal there. We were treated to complimentary bubbles for being the first of the festive menu customers. A big thank you for making our visit so enjoyable x

My first visit and it certainly did not disappoint! My friend and I were in for a real treat. A very enjoyable ambience in the most comfortable surroundings. Plenty of parking spaces, which is very important to me. Clean cloakroom. This will be highly recommendef to my friends, most of whom are ladies that lunch! Thank you for my very pleasant dining experience!

Excellent service and food on a busy day, good portions, ( although they did run out of Nachos just after lunch and something else) helpfull staff, efficient and courteous.Nice atmosphere and plenty of free parking.Walking distance to many big garden centers.Prices are reasonable at The plough.Would have given 5 stars if they hadn't run out of food.

I found this place when I was out looking for plants for my garden. Food is excellent, sat outside with my dog and had mini 4 dishes, excellent value and taste gorgeous. There is a water barrel for your dog and dog treats, so dog friendly outside and a play area for small children. Lovely place to relax and eat.

Fantastic quality Sunday roast. Not so much for the portion size which could be slightly larger, but the quality is amazing, the turkey and beef were exceptionally moist. Lots of gravy was pleasantly provided upon request. Would definitely come back again. There is plenty of parking but best to book on a Sunday to avoid disappointment.

Stopped for a quick bite, food arrived in a timely manner, fast and polite service. Couldn't resist staying for dessert and they had my favourite. Lemon meringue pie!

Really nice place to visit, the pumpkin farm joint on is amazing loved it, we had food and drinks here but to be honest it was ok at best it's standard pub food really but was ok for myself and the family. Atmosphere is nice was really busy and service was also really good considering how busy it was.

Nice pub with friendly staff 👌 the atmosphere is great but can be a bit noisy especially on a Sunday when your trying to have a Sunday roast dinner 🍽 understand it can be busy so that's no problem, the main reason for 4 stars & not 5 is that the roast potatoes & parsnips need roasting for longer, they were under-done but only to a point that they could of done with another 10 mins maximum, other than that the food & service was great & I would recommend this place. I'll return again in due course probably with a larger party & obviously book in advance.

Love this pub and when I'm in the area on a Sunday shopping for the garden supplies I love to stop here. Good points are.... Lots of parking, Good looking pub, Well kept and clean (toilets), good quick service, girls are polite, food is good but for my taste somewhat on the medium size for being a pub.. The Sunday roast selection is good but is not as big as I would like it to be. (but that's a personal opinion I prefer to see medium size served than a huge plate and see lots of wasted food) Good selection of beer and spirits.. Plenty of tables outside for warm summer days, and a nice play area for the kids.

Brilliant pub, lovely grub & great customer service. #spoton On arrival all outdoor seating was occupied, so we chose a table directly opposite the bar which suited us nicely. We were also advised that there would be atleast an hours wait until food could be served (due to how busy it was), however it didn't take longer than 40 minutes which was great. The pub itself is quite large with loads of seating inside & out, and I love the way it looks and feels inside; it also has a large playground ouside to keep the kids entertained. The food was simply divine, from the fresh battered fish and the crispy hand cut chips, to the thick succulent cheese burger which all went down a treat. Perfect location on Crews Hill for a family day out, as it's surrounded by loads of garden centres, pet stores etc.. 5* Would recommend & we'll be coming back 100% 👍🏼
