A local family favourite, especially for Sunday Lunch. The owners are friendly and hospitable. The servings are good, and at good value. A very popular choice on a Sunday, and tasty. The beef is good quality and cooked well. For a set price you get three courses.
Beautiful South-Beautiful Food. Consistently excellent food, service & ambience. We have never been disappointed with a meal at this relaxed restaurant. Just returned from a great work lunch which was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
Lovely food! Always good quality and owners Moira and her husband chef James have never dissapointed in service or delicious food. I held my wedding lunchion there and had such a great time with everyone raving about this resturant. A must in Enfield!
Absolutely superb visit. Delicious food very well presented.The staff were excellent and very attentive.Mention must be made to the senior supervisor who ensured our requirements were catered-for and she was most genial. I ordered a steak(medium ) and it was beautifully tender and cooked to perfection. Beautiful decor in the restaurant and the whole area has a lovely ambiance. The washrooms are spotlessly clean. I do have one complaint- and it's my own fault! How the hell did I not notice this gem of a restaurant before way back? If I did I could have enjoyed many a visit there instead of the normal restaurants I frequent. Would I visit again? Absolutely.
A nice menu, the food is simple but nice. Had a chicken liver starter, very good, easy to overcook but these were perfect, tender and tasty. The main was pork loin on red cabbage, a well balanced dish. Dessert was the pavlova, a nice finish. Total price for 6 adults and 2 children was £260, including 10% service. This included 2 bottles of wine, Irish coffees and other drinks. Very enjoyable, I will certainly be returning.
I have eaten at this restaurant for many years and have always had an excellent experience. The food is always exquisite and tastes amazing. It has a relaxed but sophisticated setting and the staff are attentive and friendly. I cannot praise this restaurant enough, which is why I will continue to eat here regularly.
Good food, and great for our group of friends. Good selection of starters, main and puddings for a set price. The presentation of the food was really good, quantity was just right so there was no wastage.The service was a little lacking thus 4 starts.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal. The menu is varied without being extensive plus there are specials on the board.
The food is superb; nicely presented, sufficient portions, well cooked and full of flavour. The staff are efficient and polite.
We have been eating at Beautiful South for many years and would say that it has improved over time, it was always good, but is even better now. The service is efficient and friendly and food always of a reliable standard. The House wine is good too.
Had a lovely evening at beautiful south. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious, would highly recommend to anyone in Enfield area. Only thing I wish is that me & my partner had visited sooner.

My wife and I enjoy visits as regularly as possible to the Beautiful South as the experience is always enjoyable. The restaurant setting is relaxed and comfortable, all courses are flavoursome and sufficiently generous and staff are always friendly and welcoming. Would happily recommend. We have visited as a couple and with young children also.
Was last here on New Years Eve which was a great success and reasonably priced. We eat here regularly throughout the year and it is a great meeting place for groups and having a set priced menu is convenient when arranging group do's. The service can be a bit too slow sometimes and not co-ordinated and the food has been known to be on the cold side when the place is ultra busy but it's not enough to put us off of going back time and again; probably would if it were more expensive.

We visited beautiful south for the first time last week after moving to the area recently. We are big foodies, regularly dining out in central London and didn’t know what to expect - we chose the restaurant based n it’s good reviews and we were not disappointed! The food was excellent quality - we had the squid and padron peppers to start, the venison and mushroom tortellini for main and the chocolate torte and apple tarte tatin (really excellent) for dessert and really had no complaints at all, food was all cooked perfectly and tasted fantastic! We will be visiting again soon
Have been frequenting this restaurant for years and the quality has never dropped. Selection of well prepared meals with good ingredients. It was also fantastic to receive a flexible approach to dietary requirements. Lovely place to chill and enjoy !!

Me and my husband have been going to the Beautiful South for years; that in itself speaks volumes about the place. Moira and James are excellent hosts who serve up great food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere whilst keeping the service professional and standards high. We would also like to mention the first class service provided by Pedro, being looked after by Pedro is like going to a friends for dinner - it makes for a great night.
I love coming here!! The staff are amazing and tend to your every need. The food served is always fresh and cooked to perfection. I can't wait to come on a Friday to try the fish and chips 😋
Also if you like cocktails I recommend the harvey wallbanger 😉

Food was well presented and cooked with a sense of purpose. x3 ppl - starter and main costs around £90 with a glass of wine each .Only criticism was no air con , very hot and so the fire exit door had to be opened.
