We thought we should visit this lovely pub next to where we were camping. I read someone gave a poor rating on a meat pie. So thought I’d give it a try, and was not disappointed. It was delicious, and would recommend. Our other meals were really good too. And the staff were very friendly.

Dog friendly pub (on one side, dog free on the other). Choice of food was good with daily specials. Real ales available.
The food was absolutely delicious. I wanted a starter and a pudding but just had the linguine and I couldn’t eat it all! Really generous portions. Will definitely be going back. Really cosy and welcoming atmosphere.

The food was good, although the beef on the beef roast was a bit chewy, and this was conveyed to the staff at the time. Other than that, there were no problems, and the staff were very nice, and the atmosphere was good
It was very pleasant, not too hot in there. Food arrived promptly, could of been a little bit warmer, but was delicious, & very good portions 😋😋
A group of 6 friends, we ate at the Travellers Joy based on previous reviews. We were not disappointed. The choice of beer was good, the food excellent. I had liver and bacon which was delicious and perfectly cooked, the fishermans pie both looked and tasted fabulous. Based on our visit I wou
