Great little traditional English boozer offering good beers, good food, and good times. Not many tables inside so it can get quite cosy, but this is one of the attractions of the place. The staff are helpful and friendly and there’s a nice atmosphere in the evenings.
After trying a few local pubs in our visit we found the Bluebell. Great food we both had breakfast here and it was great (I had the fat boy and couldn’t finish it) we went back for a Sunday roast and wasn’t disappointed, great table service and a lovely roast and decent wine to match. Also very good value compared to Brighton. They also have local walk flyers that we used to walk around at Thorney Island and it was spot on and very helpful (they do 4 walks in total) and the landlord Giles was very helpful helping us out here too. Thanks.
Had a delightful Sunday roast in this gorgeous pub nestled in the centre of this quaint village of Emsworth. Great selection of wines and beers and more than anything, really kind team looking after us. Highly recommend!
Popped in for lunch after a recommendation. We were very pushed for time and the pub was packed. We explained our tight timetable to the landlady, and she did everything possible to expedite our meal, which was excellent.
Although very busy, she was courteous and made every customer welcome with a lovely smile with a very easy manner. Terrific service, superb food.👍👍👍
Just had lunch here. Absolutely perfect! Food is excellent and reasonably priced. Staff incredibly friendly and helpful. Proper old pub atmosphere. Will definitely return. Thank you folks 😃
Lovely, warm and inviting little pub. Friendly staff and amazing fish and chips 🍟 😋
Had to nose at the men's toilets 🚻 brilliant indeed 👌 👍
Well, what à find. Absolutely heaving on a Monday evening. Good job we booked a table. The whole experience was first class, and the young staff are so polite and switched on. Will definitely be recommending and re-visiting.
Love the Blue Bell and visit every time we're down in the area. Great atmosphere and welcoming staff. Excellent food available - enjoyed a crab & dill mayo sandwich between the showers this May coronation weekend.
Popped in with my daughter Jessi Friday lunchtime I had steak baguette with onions my daughter had fishfinger sandwich both utterly delicious. Service was excellent. Highly recommend. Do give it a try you will not be disappointed. Regards Grahame
Independent pub with a good range of beers on tap and a good range of food - everything we had was delicious and well executed. We really liked the friendly old school pub atmosphere. And dog friendly as a plus. Highly recommended.
