My boyfriend and I have been to the Avenue cafe a few time now and I can’t recommend it enough fantastic service, delicious coffee and yummy food 10/10 from us. Everyone need to put this one on the top of their List of places to go for breakfast.
The owner is one of the nicest men i have ever meet. So lucky to have this little gem on own door step.

Such a shame that some people with young children think it is a play area , and let their children run riot.
There are always people with children in there who are always welcome. It only takes one or two kids to cause a lot of noise. Great food great atmosphere and very good service will definitely recommend it to my friends.
I have been going to Avenue Cafe for coffee & breakfast for years & always loved it.
Now they are open on Fri/Sat nights & I’m sooo pleased. Already been twice & the food/service has been amazing.
I would highly recommend a visit (or two); it’s great to have a local evening eatery that is up market, yet affordable.
Plus, they have my fav Marlboro wine!

Friday evening visit with friends - atmosphere was laidback, the cafe look lovely set up for evening dining and the food was top notch -fresh and well presented. Throughly recommend the whole baked Camembert as a sharing starter �
Great outside seating when the weather is good, pleasant indoors too. The staff are very competent and well-trained. Food was delicious, my bagel and cream cheese had loads of smoked salmon. If definitely go there again.
Plenty of parking opposite in the retail parking area.
This is a independent cafe place located in a quiet suberb of Bristol. All food is freshly made from the scratch and you can order here the best coffee in the town. I tried many dishes and I never got disappointed. Freshly made cakes and smoothies will satisfy the most sophisticated pallet.
The Avenue Cafe serves fantastic coffee, delicious snacks and the smoothies are to die for.
The staff are always super friendly and efficient and it's a really great place to meet friends.
Definitely recommend!
My family and I did have one of our best evenings ever with amazing food, drink and life music. The Avenue team created a wonderful atmosphere during their Mediterranean tapas event.
We can't wait to attend the next one.

We love coming here for coffee and lunch. The conservatory is dog friendly and a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the sun or rain. The food is excellent, can't fault it.
We love coming for lunch at the avenue cafe, such fantastic food, great coffee and amazing service. They are also so very accommodating for my children. My daughter had a smaller chocolate milkshake in a takeaway cup so she didn't spill it. We will definitely be back.
Lovely cafe - very reasonably priced with exceptional service from staff. The food, coffee and baked goods were tasty, fresh and well presented. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning.

Some coworkers took me here for lunch today as I was down from Manchester for a few days. I had the eggs benedict and some fresh orange juice. Absolutely delicious and a lovely atmosphere inside.
Thanks Avenue Cafe for baking us a lovely lemon curd sponge at such late notice. We were having some light lunch and instead of buying a cake from across the road we asked and they agreed to bake us a cake which we needed for the next day for a joint Birthday celebration.

Had eggs florentine and asked for granary bread instead of a muffin, they were very obliging. As usual was delicious. Lots mums & babies which is because it's a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Always a nice experience ☺️
Really love this place. Food is amazing, huge choice, and really really tasty at a reasonable price. Please don't change! This place makes me want to move back to the area!!

Excellent brunch @ Avenue cafe. It was busy on the Sunday we visited (mid-March) with around a 35min wait for food. Friendly staff, good coffee with food cooked to order.
A really nice cafe with helpful and friendly staff.
The decor and ambiance of the place is lovel and, it is very clean and tidy.
The coffee was good and not overpriced, plus they bring it to your table so you don't have to stand around waiting for it. I didn't have any good but it looks like they offer a good tasty selection.
There is a self service station for tap water which is just brilliant.. Everywhere should have one!
It's not local to me.. But I'll definitely be visiting again next time I'm in the area.

I have been to The Avenue a number of times and have always enjoyed a chilled coffee and the occasional, very nice breakfast. During one of my visits, I had noticed on their website that they did Private Parties. By chance at the time, I was looking for somewhere to hold my retirement party. I had already spent a couple of weeks trying to find a venue to hold this and I was struggling, as I didn't want a formal send-off, I wanted somewhere that my work colleagues, family and friends could sit around comfortably, mingle at the bar and have a posh bite to eat. I wanted some background music, somewhere relatively easy to park and a place that I could say my good-byes. This place seemed to tick all the boxes.
From the very second I met the manager to enquire about my requirements, our greeting on the night, during the party and until the time I left at 11pm, I found all the staff to be polite, extreme helpful and they all went out of their way to make the whole evening a night for us all to remember.
I have had so much positive feedback from all who attended, saying that they would not only recommend The Avenue but also, more than likely to use them for their very own special event.
The atmosphere was perfect, the food was delicious, you catered for all our needs and at a very reasonable price!
A MASSIVE THANK YOU to Costas, Georgia and the team for a fabulous evening and send-off. 10/10
