No longer a pub or restaurant, it seems. But reasonable B&B with satisfactory breakfast. Nearby Grey's Inn serves a good supper, still serving well after 8pm!
We loved it here! The set up is so cute and we felt right at home. The food was amazing and didn’t break the bank. On top of that Anna was so friendly and welcoming that I’d recommend this place to anyone! Thanks for a great stay!
Anna was very friendly and welcoming. Our room and en suite were very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The food was excellent and Anna worked extremely hard: cleaning the rooms, making and serving breakfast as well as serving in the bar and the dining room. We would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone who wants a short break away in a smal family run B&B with a friendly atmosphere. Gill & Bob Osborne
Having been recommended by a local friend the Blue Bell was certainly worth the stay. My wife, two friends and myself spent three nights there. Anna, the owner, and her mother, Lisa, were most welcoming; the breakfast was spot on and , if you wanted something extra, Anna would happily cook it for you. She was brilliant at getting a gallon out of a pint pot!!
Under new management in the last couple of weeks. Good food, really lovely staff. Only went to the bar/restaurant, not the B&B, but all great from what I experienced.

They only take cash or bank transfer. There is no signal inside, but they were happy to let us do a bank transfer once we got home, so that wasn't an issue for us.
Overall, a really great experience!
Really enjoyed our meals this evening. Great pizza and exceptional lobster spaghetti, followed by nice desserts.

Such a cute little inn! My partner booked this location for our trip to the area to explore some of the castles.
If you are looking for a quite getaway, this is a perfect location. The owner is incredibly sweet and really warm and welcoming.
The rooms, while dated, just ooze the B&B feel. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. The only thing I could even criticize is that there isn't any WiFi, so either bring a hotspot or be prepared to be off the grid for your stay.
On the bottom floor is a pub which served amazing food and dining room which is where you are breakfast (which was included).
I would definitely return to this location whenever in the area again and would recommend it to anyone wanting the country B&B feel.
Drove past all week and decided on the Friday afternoon to call in for a quick pint. We were greeted by the owner’s mum who was incredibly friendly and very, very welcoming. We ordered a round of drinks and sat outside in the late afternoon sun where she joined us for a lovely chat explaining all the local places to visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our chat and drink and cannot remember the last time we were made so welcome in a pub. Top drawer and would recommend to anyone to visit.

Extremely Friendly, great if you have been walking the Northumberland Coastal Path. Nice bar with good evening meals and a very nice breakfast.
Fourth visit To the Sambuca Blue Bell. Staff are attentive and friendly. The lunch special is good value for three courses. Brilliant pizza with tasty toppings and light, fluffy base. Absolutely no criticism. My compliments to the chef. I'll be back (again).
This place is a must, really is, absolutely lovely, could not have felt more comfortable, it was as if we was actually from the neighbour hood , the atmosphere and friendliness was was above and beyond 😀 will definitely be returning, and staying in the actual pub ...can't wait 🙂 a beautiful and friendly place to stay
Decent food and with Eat In to Help Out was extremely reasonably priced. The staff are mostly friendly but can be a bit abrupt on occasions. We always enjoy a meal here when staying nearby.
Great relaxed atmosphere with good service and a fantastic chef.the chef personally asked if everything was alright with our food(which it very much was) I would recommend the fillet steak with Diane sauce. The bar area is also very welcoming.
