Very happy with this place in the heart off my one off favorite city’s in UK, place are cozy always welcoming and staff don’t even know where to start, they was running they feet’s for customers journey satisfaction! Great effort, great experience, great food! Recommend to pop in and try!
Today was our first visit here and it will not be our last. Lovely homemade food, great choice, and very friendly staff and atmosphere. We were made to feel very welcome, and nothing was too much trouble, even when they were rushed off their feet. Would highly recommend.
Went for a nice lunch on a rainy day. Good sized portions, even a decent side salad with the jacket potato. Grandkids enjoyed their meals too. Nice cake to finish it off.

Delicious breakfasts served by a very friendly team in a very reasonable time! Quite happily our 'go-to' for a fry-up in the city centre. Considering the limited space, staff are very accommodating with babies /buggies. Affordable food with a smiley and professional service.

A cosy traditional cafe with friendly staff located in the heart of Ely city centre.
I enjoyed a nice strong cup of tea and an excellent breakfast roll, which was nicely presented.
For the quality, I found it decent value for money.
Very nice café pleasant staff. Great views from the upstairs seating area. Food was excellent and we received our order very quickly. Will definitely go again.

The best coffee walnut cake I’ve had outside my own kitchen. Breakfast is fantastic.
Waiting times during busy hours can be long but they try their best and are very nice. They do table service so don’t go if you need your coffee and plastic wrapped cake eaten in 5 mins! (There is Costa Coffee on the other side of the street.)
I recently moved to Ely and went to the Market Kitchen three times for breakfast. Each time I had the best Omelett with Ham, mushroom and tomatoes. My husband had the full English breakfast. We loved it. The service is very friendly and I can totally recommend the breakfast.
Lovely cafe with alot more room inside than it first seems. Kind and welcoming staff. There was a wait on food because it was so busy but it was worth the wait as the food was lovely. Nothing poncy just good proper food with good sized portions to fill all bellies.
