Our waitress Kasha was great, 5* for her service. We must have come in at a very busy time, and although the guy at the door was apologetic about us having to wait, it still took them 25 min to get us a table which we prebooked. The food was good, the mocktail lacked flavour, and the cheesecake was a bit dry. Overall we had a nice time, maybe next time it'll be 5*

A lovely restaurant, lively atmosphere. It has that nice American diner feel to it. As soon as we entered, we were greeted and seated by some really polite staff. Our waitress was super friendly and polite. Immediately I felt comfortable. I ordered myself a Rum n' Coke, they offered a number of rums for me to choose from which was appreciated. I also got the Steak and Chicken grill combo, with a jacket potato. I have to say, the steak was cooked beautifully and was a really decent size. The grilled chicken was full of flavour, nice and juicy and very tasty. My only critique is that I wish I had more sauce and maybe a small side salad, however I'm not going to mark down because my waitress did offer sides and sauces, so it's not the fault of the restaurant. The deserts looked great by the way, I didn't have one myself but the table next to me ordered some and would recommend any desert lovers to indulge! Lovely staff, great prices, nice location next to the cinema. Lovely evening out.

Excellent. Food delicious, good size portions and although not cheap, felt like value for money. We didn't order the dessert in the photo!

We usually visit this restaurant at least once a month. We've never had a bad meal there and the staff, some of whom often recognise us, always give us amazing service. We love the fact that their menu offers a great variety of dishes, especially Vegan options. Overall, a great place to eat.

Staff are super friendly, nothing is too much trouble. My steak was very under cooked but it was rectified straight away and they couldn't apologise enough! We come here all the time due to the food normally being up to a great standard and it helps having such lovely staff.

AMAZING! We were greeted with a friendly smile from every server. Taken straight to a table and immediately asked if we wanted drinks, which arrived almost immediately. Food came up really quickly and could possibly be the best food we have had in our 2 week stay. Top marks!

Walked in to Arbuckles tonight and once again a wonderful time. Seated with ten minutes, drinks after another few minutes and dinner. Children spoken to by our server, who engaged with them brilliantly. Lovely family friendly place. Super busy, but great all round! Eni was a brilliant waitress, thank you.

Celebrated my granddaughter's 21st on a Saturday lunchtime 😋 The staff were attentive courteous & very friendly. The food was served in a timely manner & meals arrived all at the same time. Generous portions & with no exception everyone enjoyed what they ordered. Would definitely recommend 👌

My friend and I had a lovely experience at Arbuckles Ely. We hadn’t booked and they managed to get us a table for breakfast. The food was lovely, I had the Buttermilk chicken fried waffle and, she had the Farmhouse, both we would recommend. The service from Ivana was amazing. She was friendly, chatty, attentive and it made the experience really positive. Would highly recommend this place and I’ve even booked in for my sisters birthday.

Omfg!!! The best food I've had in a long time. I thought Bodeans was good, but Arbuckles hit the ball out the park!!! The ribs- Talk about succulent meat that falls of the bone! And the sauces!! We asked for ketchup and didn't even touch it as the sauces were so devine. The fries-perfect. The steak-perfect. The drinks-cold. The OJ - Fresh! Service - professional, polite and with a smile. We all left there so stuffed and content. Price- I did not cry. Why isn't there one of these restaurants in London?! I would have taken pics but after the first bite, I was lost to my senses. The two pics my son took doesn't do it justice. Totally recommend and saving to my favourites.

Service was fantastic on Saturday 8th July. I was able to bring my assistant dog with me and the table we were seated at was perfect for all of our party. The food was excellent. I had gluten free and it was really nice. I even got my dog a burger and it came on a separate plate plus the waitresses gave us some extra napkins. My dog was so well behaved as this was his first time in arbuckles although he has been in other eating places. The food arrived very quickly and we were leaving by the hour after arriving. Definitely be going again.

After having visited Arbuckles a couple of times recently I thought I'd take the time to leave a review. Arbuckles has delivered a flawless dining experience each time. The food is great, it doesn't take an eon for it to come out of the kitchen and the staff always deliver great service. As the restaurant sits on the leisure park there's always ample parking and it's easy to get to. We will definitely visit Arbuckles again in the future.

Just not what it used to be. Food was slow coming out. Starter was OK. But both mains were poor. My wife had the ribs which were bland and had a bitter sauce. Even the consistency was mushy. I had the cheese steak burger, it was dry and no way a 9oz burger plus the smoked beef on the burger was a teaspoonful I ordered loaded tots and I tried them, they were cooked in old oil. The staff member asked why I left the tots. I told her and there was no apology or explanation.

It lived up to OK expectations. Adequate. Pros: The restaurant itself is nice, the atmosphere good, and it's fun for a date night. The mac n cheese sloppy tots were good even if the mac n cheese was school cafe quality. The ribs were surprisingly good. Onion rings were crisp. Pancakes were fantastic! Light, fluffy, and full of flavour. Only downside is they're small pancakes from the dessert menu (I think the breakfast ones are bigger). Cons: Mac n cheese was average quality and possibly not fresh, I saw it scooped out of a plastic tub. Mac n cheese bites were fine, can get same quality ones from Iceland and do them in an airfryer. Meatballs were obviously from frozen. Chips were what you'd get from a cheap fried chicken shop, so pretty dead. Overall: Good comfort food, good times, nice when you're hungry for lots of british standard american food. But it's not high-quality. However, we'll be back simply because it's good enough and a nice date night.

The name 'Arbuckles' reminds me of the Arby's diner chain in the US, but in actuality this place feels considerably more sophisticated. Located in Ely Leisure Village, I came here for a late lunch on a weekday where the 2-tiered restaurant was nearly 95% empty. This allowed for prompt service and food arriving in good time. In honesty, the rating given here is only 4.5 stars - they've only provisioned for a handful of vegan items (listed clearly on the main food menu) and just one alcohol-free beer. To gain the final half star, they must expand both of these offerings. I ordered the barbeque jackfruit fajitas with a side of button mushrooms and, in all, everything tasted great - the sweetness of the barbeque sauce wasn't overpowering and the jackfruit was succulent to the bite. As a bonus, there's a real spectacle to the fajita filler as it arrives at your table sizzling off a metal dish! Staff were exceptional - friendly and competent from beginning to end. American Express cards are accepted (naturally) and with abundant parking plus an accessibility-friendly entrance there's a lot to like about Arbuckles. If I were watching a movie at the nearby Cineworld, I'd be more than glad to complement my visit with a slap-up meal at this restaurant. Recommended!
