This was the first time we had ever eaten here, although we had walked past the place loads of times, so first impression the place is huge although it filled up with people quickly. The waitresses were attentive without being overbearing, the food was lovely, cooked promptly, we went for the lunchtime special limited menu which was fantastic, overall a positive experience, I'd definitely go again.
My son's booked a meal for us and my husband as an early birthday celebration on 15th August and we were all very impressed. Lovely restaurant, lovely food and reasonable price and the service was excellent. Would definately recommend.
I treat my sister for her birthday meal there and as we wanted a bit of a catch up so we asked for a more discreet table, which we was given. We was served by a very pleasant waiter some very nice food indeed.
Lovely décor. 4 of us shared the "sharing platter for 2" and there was more than enough there. Also a bit different to the usual platters which was nice. The fresh mint lemonade was so refreshing, like a non alcoholic mojito.
I had the sea bass for main and it was delicious! So much there again, over perfectly prepared vegetables. Also came with "gratinized potatoes" on the side but I didn't touch them as the fish & veggies were plenty and such light flavours. Definitely looking forward to going back next time we're in the area.
Had our team Christmas meal there last night! Kristoff and his team looked after us very well. Corrected immediately a small error with the order. We all had a great time, the Christmas menu was delicious �
Brilliant food. Good for kids too as they have a play area. Nice staff and very pleased with my burger!

I recently visited Wildwood and was impressed by the overall experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was really nice and created a relaxing ambiance. Moreover, the food was simply delicious! I ordered the ribs, and they were cooked to perfection and highly recommend them to anyone who visits.

This is a marvelous place. Service was great. The waiters who served us were very attentive and polite.
And the food was tasty and plentiful, enough to feed a 6ft guy with big appetite.
Coffee was tasty and carefully made as well.
I totally recommend eating here.
Wildwood is a brilliant restaurant and is conveniently located in the centre of Ely with views of the cathedral and a short walk from the river Great Ouse and the train station as well as bus stops from local towns and villages.
Staff are friendly and the food is authentically Italian and is to a standard worthy of dining out for. The only aspect preventing five stars for everything was the portion size. Whilst not small if you have a big appetite - as I do - it is worth investing in a starter as well as a main.
The prices are competitive and there is a selection of food and drink options to cater for those that don't drink, like to explore various wines as well as various vegetarian and vegan options.
The atmosphere is positive and bordering on intimate without it feeling like guests are unable to speak freely and to one another.
I have no reservations about going back to visit Wildwood again and taking family and friends to this venue.
The food was great, the place is spacious and was pleasant to be in. We visited the restaurant in the afternoon and were served very quickly.
The only wish is that the sofas were cleaner.
Excellent. We visited on a Tuesday evening about 7pm. Loved the ambience and decor. My partner and I both had the 'Beyond Meat' vegan burger. I had mine with a salad and couldn't fault it. Well presented, good service, relaxed atmosphere, tasty food. Marvellous!
Took my lovely wife here for Valentine's Day today! Wildwood has a lovely atmosphere with polite and friendly staff. The value and choice on the Valentine's Day menu was fantastic. The wife was all fancy with mushrooms and salad and I enjoyed a series of bread, burger, brownie and beers. Not a fan of having the tip added to the bill but I suppose it saves us the faff. Everything went like clockwork and we agree that it was an evening well spent in the midst of other loving couples! We look forward to returning again soon.
Very tasty food and a comfortable experience for people who want to be safe during covid. All tables were cleaned the instant people left and all the waitresses were masked and carried antibacterial gel.
I had a Philly Cheese steak sandwich with sweet potato fries, Baked Mushroom Arancini and an Iced Coffee (not on the menu but they can still make it well).

Have had a few lovely dinners at this place this year, friendly staff & our servers were always welcoming. I had the cheese pizza both times & it was just as good each time.
A lovely meal with lovely people. We went here years ago and pass by it often, but keep forgetting about it, which is a shame. The beer was well kept and the pizza was exceptional. I kept looking at the Pizza Oven and wondered what it was covered with... 2p pieces?
