Always love the cutter. Everything I eat is always delicious. Love the location and the view and The Cutter helped me decide to move to Ely 5 years ago and have been visiting ever since :)

We took a party of 16 today, made up of our lunch club regulars, before a trip to the panto. The food was perfect, and the staff were so welcoming and efficient. People were still talking about lunch on the minibus home. We'll definitely be back - thank you!

Good food and service, just don't have a Sunday roast, over priced for processed meat and frozen roast potatoes

We wanted to have lunch by the river and we found this lovely old pub. The bar itself is fashioned on a boat and is really unique. The staff was friendly and helpful and the food was very very good. The portion sizes were enormous and well worth the price paid. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Ely.

The Cutter Inn is a modern-style pub, beautifully set along the riverbank in Ely, Cambridgeshire. Very pleasant (if limited) elevated outside seating, beautiful view on the river and boats. Perfect to while away a sunny afternoon upon a visit to the city. Four handpumps for cask ale lovers, plus some kegged beers and lagers. Service was quick, despite good business on the day, and I found a nice table on the outside (the rooms inside seem quite elegant, there's even a piano). Good place, decent beer (at elevated prices I must say), decent service.

We popped in on the off chance and the staff where so accommodating and nothing was to much trouble. I must say that the food was outstanding and probably one of the best meals i have had out for a while, with regards to quality and taste. I will visit again 100%

On holiday, we stopped for a ploughman's. We did order the ploughman's (small £10) very nice and tasty. We had bit of a wait, but you can't rush good food, and not in a hurry although quite busy too,

First time visit & milust say, it was quite nice! Staff were friendly. Lots of people outside, but we sat in. Nice atmosphere, probably would have been even better if more people, but it was early when we went. I didn't eat, but the menu looked great. Best thing is, it's a dog friendly pub, so will definitely go again now I know my dog can come with me. Loved the dog menu too, would be great laminated! Always support dog friendly ❤️

I love this pub on the River Ouse in beautiful Ely. Great selection of pump beers, bottled lagers and wines. Helpful and friendly staff have always been our experience. The adjoining restaurant is really big and although all part of the same building, it's separate to the bar area. The food is OK but not my 1st personal choice. Its great though if you like to have a table by the window over looking the river. The bar also provides food. There's probably 10-11ish small tables outside and 3 larger ones to the side of pub, all on the river front only and 10ish tables inside. The prices are average, we paid £12.50 for a large glass of wine and a pint of draft beer. I guess my only reservation is the table capacity given this is a hugely popular pub predominantly in the summer meaning your lucky to get a table unless you are happy to stand around, which personally I'm not as I want to relax, so I would not stop there if no table. The location is lovely and well worthy of a visit, to enjoy a drink and watch the world go by.

Quite expensive, but food I had was absolutely delicious. Great to see actual car park, especially for a venue so close to water. Lovely pub and attached restaurant, options to dine in either. Different menus whether bar order food or restaurant. Staff friendly and attentive. Dont forget to advise of anything intolerant or allergic. My bill 3 course £50.25 without drinks. Opted for jug tap water.

Tried the new afternoon tea here today. Absolutely incredible! Clearly putting time and effort into getting it right - looked amazing and was an absolute feast! You could also select your choice of sandwiches from their 4 choices on the pub menu. Would recommend for an afternoon tea experience in ely!

We tried Fish and Chips with Crushed Peas and Tartar Sauce, sea bream and pork belly. And mushroom brushetta for starter and sticky toffee pudding for dessert. Good food

Lovely restaurant with nice views over the River Great Ouse. Service was excellent and the food came quickly. Good choice of food and our steaks were very nice. I had sherry trifle cheesecake which was different and tasty.

It's been 20+ years since my last visit here and it's still a lively pub. It's changed over the years but has maintained its unique atmosphere. The real ales are great and you can tell they know how to look after them correctly.

Stopped by for Sunday lunch in the bar area. Cosy pub with restaurant. Huge portion. I had the fish and chips with melt in the mouth batter. Husband had monk fish scampi which he enjoyed. Nice views of the river. Polite quick service
