Went for Lunch last Sunday. Fish was cooked to perfection. Always a good selection of ales available. Staff are friendly and approachable. One member of staff had no issues helping an elderly gent with his food. Very accomodating.
Went for a meal with a friend. The food we had was lovely. It has a great location - its a short walk through an alley to a free carpark. Fabulous service, we didn't feel at all rushed and the lady was really helpful and friendly. The pub had a good atmosphere. The toilets weren't the best b

Dog friendly as well as friendly staff! Great homely pub. What's not to like?!!

Don't let the outer appearance of this hotel deceive you; this is no High St pub for darts and dominoes, inside it's a bright, modern, small hotel with a fabulous public restaurant and bar. Walk through the doors and you're in a modern, clean and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were so friendly and
They look after their beers at the Standard. They're all good! Particularly the Neck Oil and West Coast IPA. The food is also great! Super friendly staff as well.
After being massively let down by another pub in Ely on Sunday we called on the off chance of sitting 8 of us. There was no wait for a table, the menu offered everything we needed for kids, gf and vegetarian diets. Staff were friendly and attentive! The roasts and rest of the menu here are really go
