I've visited Lucyat35 multiple times and each trip has been wonderful. The food is beyond delicious and there are so many brunch and light lunch options, plus the necessary slice of cake everyone needs to leave room for! My favourites are the smashed avocado toast (lots of flavour and so beautifully presented), yoghurt bowl (topped with homemade granola and a lovely berry compote) and their red lentil dhal (so creamy and comforting, especially on a cold day!) The cakes vary all the time, but on my last visit I had a huge slice of chocolate orange 'brownie' cake that was so decadent with a generous layer of chocolate frosting. I was in absolute cake heaven! Service is always so welcoming and you almost feel like you're at home. The lovely ladies always come over for a chat and make sure you're enjoying the food. Coffee is also worth a mention - served piping hot and extra frothy! Vegan or not, this is an absolute must-visit if you stop by in Ely. I specifically make the trip from nearby Peterborough and it's always a joy. So highly rated and you can guarantee I'll keep coming back for more mouth-watering vegan food.

Great lunch food, cakes, tea and coffee. Everything on the menu is vegan and gluten free - not that you'd notice anything missing. We had the fritters and the 3 bean chilli and both were delicious. There's a good selection of nice teas and some really great cakes and brownies. The café itself has a really nice atmosphere to it. Thoroughly recommended.

Went there today quite late for lunch and everything was sold out but the salad bowl. This wasn't a problem as it was fantastic. Had the chocolate banana cake and was also fantastic. Not too keen on the cucumber water which was supplied on the table. Will definitely go back and would recommend for local vegans .

Loved this place. Would definitely recommend. I arrived late so no hot food was available (sold out) but they had a salad bowl for me. It was large & full of different flavours. Spinach, chickpea salad, slaw, pasta salad & all the usual salad staples. The homemade cookie was yummy too. A must for vegans.

Good is delicious, staff are awesome it is owner run! Bit of weird table lay out as they share the down stairs space with the reception area for a beauty parlor! Slightly random but keeps the overheads down I guess. Food is about £7 or 8 for a maGin course and you get a decent plate. Would go again for sure.

Stumbled across this cafe while wonderering Ely today. What a lovely place. The staff were so friendly and the food was amazing. We both has the lentil Dahl. Generous portion and so tasty. Really loved the spinach leaves with it. Highly recommended.

Oh, my! What a gem! I’m vegan and my daughter is gluten intolerant, so it is wonderful that we can go here and both eat literally anything on the menu. The choices are imaginative and delicious, the presentation stunning. Staff are friendly and welcoming, there’s exactly the right vibe to the place. Can’t wait for my next visit!

I can't seem to walk past this cafe without buying some cake to take away. Today we sat down for lunch and I'm so glad I did as it was delicious. I had a chickpea, spinach and potatoe curry with yoghurt and poppadoms. The staff are very friendly and have a real passion for creating tasty & healthy meals for everyone, not just vegans.

If you are celiac and vegan, then you have just found the perfect place, even if you are a committed carnivore, you will enjoy something different. I called in for the first time on Saturday 02 June and was greeted by Lucy, (great smile) she explained everything is Vegan and Gluten free. I tried the Savoury crepe with Sultana rice and peas in pea puree, with dressed leaves, tumeric and onion and it was excellent, very tasty and the combination of flavours worked really well. As I was leaving, Lucy steered me toward the free taster samples on the counter, they were yummy. I would highly recommend a visit even if you're not celiac or vegan.

Really nice people and good service. Arrived too late for hot food so loaded up on different cakes. The chocolate and carrot cakes are amazing and do so with no bad ingredients put in my temple. Highly recommend for eat in or take away.

I have been here twice now and the cake is amazing. I can’t have soya so they made me up a beautiful salad bowl with all the things I could have as there was nothing completely soya free on the menu that day. Everything we had was fresh and extremely tasty. Very highly recommended.

Very friendly and helpful place. Very busy but found us a table for seven straight away and were very accommodating of our intolerances/ allergies and even made a dairy free pavlova which wasn’t on the menu for us.
