Not my first rodeo here so glad to be back...
So much to choose from was hard to decide so went for a sharer.
I was expecting some stack of large pancakes 🥞 instead what arrived was an afternoon tea style, small food dishes and tiny pancakes...
Normally being a foodie I'd question the above expecting more, HOWEVER... it was well presented, cooked well, enough for two and although could be a little cheaper, we thought a great choice.
Like other reviews staff and service was great 👍 👌 😀 well done pancake house. You will never please everyone 🙂 💔 but we came away happy 😊 😃
A low key experience, yet one we choose every single time we visit Elveden Center Parcs. The pancakes themselves are a delivery method for the tasty topping, just like pizza, so you will know what you're going to get - no bad thing when there's a decent variety. I did ask for swap of one of the toppings and was denied, which annoyed me, and when the pancake arrived, they had done it. I had to wait 20 moody long minutes before I perked up when it arrived. Some clearer communication could made that a better experience.
The environment is reminiscent of a 1950's diner, and it's quite subdued. Soft play is well sized for the restaurant capacity.
Everyone has clean plates - and that's success.
Lovely food, with a large selection and adaptable kids menu.
The biscoff French toast is delightful!
The service was reasonably quick, and we were large group to 10.
Would recommend.
