We had lunch at the Eltermere Inn today and it was absolutely faultless. Beautiful location, lovely dining room the was impeccably presented, soft relaxing music, absolutely delicious food, friendly and helpful staff. It was wonderful. Our new favourite place. The peacocks were a delightful surprise
Visited for afternoon tea and it was the best we've ever had. Huge portions and all delicious.
We were looked after by Sarah who went above and beyond to make sure our visit was enjoyable. Absolutely fab service.

Stayed in Great End room, which is a new addition to a lovely hotel. Although the room is not huge, we really enjoyed the rooms own private entrance. It has some beautiful views of the garden and surrounding fells. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We dined in the restaurant both nights and
We had our wedding reception here on 3rd August 2022 and the venue did not disappoint! We had arranged to have use of the dining room and access to all of the other areas. It's an amazing place, perfect for a relaxing night away! The staff are fantastic, and the food was some of the best food I have ever had. I couldn't recommend enough! Thank you for an amazing stay.
Had lunch here yesterday, the bartender/waiter was just the best, and when they had ran out of a certain item on the menu they helped us mix and match what they had to make a big enough salad type option for lunch. The salad was very fresh and tasty and so was the fish and chips.

I found the service exemplary, the food delicious and the views fantastic. Entering my room I was impressed with the scale and attention to detail. Excellent place to stay or have dinner in Elterwater. Near to the Langdale Hotel and lodges, so worth a visit if staying there.
Beautiful food and friendly staff. As well as a formal dining room, there is a bar area (dogs allowed), perfect for a beer or coffee if just passing. Food is well presented
A beautiful country manor house with just 12 bedrooms. Food was absolutely amazing and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. We had 2 nights there and wanted to stay longer. We will definitely be returning.
The staff are so friendly and the food is top quality. Great selection of drink to choose from the bar. The hotel and views are absolutely stunning with beautiful gardens.
Had a coffee in the garden lovely views previously called for a beer inside nice bar area good beer. Not too expensive for the lake's.
Old Inn with great atmosphere and quirky rooms with squeaky floorboards and occasionally noisy water pipes.

An absolute gem of a hotel. The staff are wonderful, the chef is outstanding, the hotel itself is great and in a gorgeous setting. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
