The food was good and the atmosphere was excellent. We did book but only on the day so not too far in advance. The pub was really cosy with the log burner going and my dog loved it. The bar staff were very friendly and made a fuss of the dog. Dogs are allowed to be in the bar area only, so if you ar

We visited G&D on Friday, which was steak night with a set menu. The food was amazing, and really good value for money. The restaurant was fairly full, with a fairly quiet atmosphere. Will definitely reccomend.

Just a wonderful experience, fantastic food selection, only downside being a larger drinker not a very good selection. Just need a good every day lager.
Had a lovely Sunday lunch celebration meal here for my fathers 90th birthday. There were 16 of us including 3 children. The staff were all very polite, friendly and helpful, Nicole helped me plan ahead with the food orders and the celebration went very smoothly. Food was served on time, all togethe

The food was excellent, absolutely spot on and no plate had anything
