Found this fantastic place by accident today, and will definitely be returning. Staff gave a warm friendly welcome on arrival, and were very attentive throughout our visit. As for the food.... well we had the beef Sunday lunch, followed by puddings, and I have to say it has to be the best on the Fylde coast. Will with out a doubt be returning to try more from there fantastic looking menu x

Very nice country pub, loads of places to seat and chill out, and it has a huge beer garden in the back. We returned today and had some amazing food, highly recommend the homemade nachos with smoked pulled beef, and the rack of Lamb roast was super tasty and really nicely presented and cooked. 5 stars from me.

Stopped off on the way home for tea. Sadly we missed the Easter activities but our 5 year old still manage to hunt out two chocolate eggs that were missed Bu the earlier participants. THE STAFF WERE EXTRA FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING. It looked like they had had a busy day but that didn’t stop them delivering the best burger I have had in a very long time. Mushroom and Stilton 👌 Kids burger was fab and they even gave him a gherkin. We’ll definitely be back. Loved sitting in the garden in the sun. Plenty of space and great atmosphere. Only got a pic of my burger… it was so good.

Found this gem of a pub whilst on holiday with our greyhound. The first plus was that they are dog friendly and the second plus was the food was amazing! We wen three nights on the trot. The staff were fabulous, friendly and the service was faultless. I had the vegetarian choices whilst John had meat options, both were excellent

I visited The Ship Elswick late last week, For work. I was greeted by Jordan who was very welcoming as the kitchen wasn't quite open, I got talking to the chef at the bar.. both really nice people... This pub was really cosy, with beautiful decor and spotlessly clean. A real credit to the staff and management.

We found ourselves childless for the evening and had an impromptu date night. We were passing The Ship and decided to drop in. Welcoming staff, nicely decorated and set out venue. Never been in before. We had prawn cocktail, garlic sour dough for starters, whitby scampi & chips, mixed grill for mains and cookie dough, crumble of the day (apple & sultanas with custard). The food was delicious, service was great, nice atmosphere. Will be visiting again soon.

This is a great family run pub . The food is outstanding , well presented with good sized portions. There is a huge beer garden, with the choice of a covered area and an open area . The disabled facilities are available to you and any feedback is taken very seriously Toilets are clean and well maintained. Staff are super friendly and helpful especially Jess. .

Went to the ship for a mum and daughter date after hearing it had re opened. On arrival we were not disappointed. Wow!! The place is stunning. We were greeted by a very friendly waitress who served us the while time we were there. The food was delicious, reasonably priced and very well presented. There is a huge beer garden to the the rear with plenty of seating and also seats outside the front. We also noticed dogs are welcome inside and out so also a bonus if you want to take your pet along. We will definately be back.

Cheeky mid-week meal out didn't disappoint. Greeted with a warm welcome when we arrived and chose a table in a booth. The menu had plenty of choices from hearty meals to lighter bites all at reasonable prices. A good choice of alcoholic and soft drinks were available at the bar and we were served by friendly, knowledgeable staff. Maybe too honest, when asked about the special Easter cheesecake, we were told that it wasn't the waitress's favourite cheesecake and they do better ones. I much prefer honesty than disappointment. Thoroughly enjoyed our experience and will definitely be visiting again.

Lovely place and staff but the portion of lasagne was small. More like a child's portion. I can see why they offer garlic bread with it for an extra £2.50. I'm didn't order it as I'm at the older end of the scale and not a big eater ‐ honestly!
