Stopped off for some tea on a summers evening - both had a burger and a few beers. Absolutely delicious.

This was one of the best currys ever ever, and I'm an Oldham lass, not Asian style, I choose Brazilian Prawn and Pineapple, coconut, 7/10 hot, fresh coriander, just superlative, starter great too, service friendly and warm, like I was a local, cannot fault the Boot and Shoe @ Elswick, great restaurant quality ❤️🧡💛💚🩵💙💜

Amazing food, great ales and welcoming atmosphere. Very comfortable and relaxed atmosphere with the charm of a country pub. Went today for Sunday lunch and it was fabulous! The owners/staff are really friendly and I would highly recommend this pub. I will very likely become a regular !

I came with my brother in law Sunday . The food was great . Staff are lovely . Didn’t expect it but they did a great pub quiz and gave out free hot dogs . Had a brilliant night

Great pub, great atmosphere. The Sunday quiz is unbeatable (so is our team😉). Bob is a great man - friendly and a good laugh, as are all the other staff! Would be nice to have a better cider on draft but I drink strongbow anyway because the pub is worth the not so great cider.
