Delicious Sunday dinner and lovely beer garden. Good vegetarian options.
Having a chat with the owner, him and his misses have not even been open for a week, so I don't know why people have given bad reviews becuase they where closed when they turned up,

Whilst camping near by, me and my friends decided to try this place out for some food and Friday night drinks. We were warmly greeted and the food was gorgeous! The Landlady, Rosemary was an absolute star and her sidekick (didn't get his name) was hilarious! We were made to feel welcome from the sta
We stopped by for lunch this past Sunday and I have to stay it was an absolute pleasure to have met Rosemary, she was genuine and offered the best service we’ve experienced in the county. The food was delicious so we’ll head back soon
We had a really good Sunday lunch at the Elsted Inn.
The portions were massive and you get an extra jug of gravy without asking.
Definitely recommend!
Very beautiful quaint pub in the beautiful area of Elsted Marsh, walked over this evening for dinner with my husband . Very warm welcome , delicious food and lovely atmosphere. Will definitely be returning.
Amazing pub! Huge food portions, great prices for drinks and amazing views!
Definitely worth a visit! Dog friendly and beautiful outdoor garden!
Love it! ^-^
Stayed here after doing a large chunk of the South Downs way. Ate in the restaurant that they kept open for us as we were running late. Lovely food, comfortable warm room. Very welcoming and helpful people. Highly recommended, super pub even if just popping in for a beer.
Lovely vegetarian tart made by the new chef. Delicious Sunday Lunch after a long walk!
Had dinner here for the 1st time last night. A thoroughly enjoyable evening. Charming pub with a cosy atmosphere. Superb food and friendly welcoming staff. Looking forward to a return visit. May be a bit off the beaten track but more than worth the trip.
Came here after a trip, I had a Guinness and lamb roast which was really nice. It’s a lovely place!
3 cyclists pitched up when they were not officially open. They gave us coffee and a sausage sandwich for a very reasonable price. Nice to see service for a change.
Made to feel welcome from the moment we stepped indoors. On this occasion we just had lunch which was excellent (and hot). No problem having two young children with us and a baby seat was provided at the table. Will definitely visit here again.
