Best fish and chips you will find in town. I can't highlight enough the service of the gentleman running the shop. Made sure we were happy all the way. The food was very good!! Well done ✅
Rarely do you find such a busy and friendly takeaway. Top service from all the staff. Ordered a small doner kebab, delicious chilli sauce, definitely will be returning very soon.

Good quality food. Good portion size. Happy people. Having lived in Great Bentley for 7 years, this Fish Shop is now my number one choice. Currently escaping our winter for 4 months in India. Going for fish and chips on the way home from Heathrow. Can't wait !!!!
It was good, although once we got home, had the wrong size fish and the chicken kebab Mediterranean mix was not a good portion, more salad than chicken.
But cannot deny it was very good. Also when visited was very busy.
Lovely freindly, family-run chippy with a very wide range of good quality food on offer. My new favourite chippy in the area ... and I have Henleys in Wivenhoe!

Just ordered from here - have to say it was the best chicken kebab I’ve ever had! Have ordered from here a few times food is always excellent first time ordering a kebab and will now be my go to!! One happy customer 👍🏻
Excellent family run chippy that offers a lot more than just fish and chips. The chicken kebabs are particularly good. Always a warm welcome from the very friendly staff. Card payment and home delivery available. Sensible opening hours. Well worth a visit.

Stranded as we were we stopped for fish and chips in the car - very obligingly Mike got out fresh fish and put it on boxes, cutlery and napkins. Very tasty and welcome on a cold wet August evening. I will be going back to Elmstead Market.
This place does the best fish and chips in the area. They have a good selection on their menu. The staff are always polite and friendly too. Highly recommended!

Food tasted great and for a chip shop there was a huge range to choose from, not just the basic fiah and chips ! If anyone is interested I would recommend the poppers ! Naturally I bought way too much food than I needed but it will definitely not goto waste. Finally, the price was very reasonable.
